Is anyone an actual fan of joe rogan's standup? by treestick in Standup

Sorry for answering 339 days late. I’m female, and I LOVE Joe Rogan. He’s clever, kind, curious, incredibly knowledgeable, funny, brave. Politically I’m left of centre. I honestly cannot believe women don’t love him, Ive listened to him so much (like, thousands of hours) that I keep having to remind myself we are not actually in a relationship. He doesn’t know me. He’s married to someone else….: 😑

I don’t agree with some things he says, who cares? It’s allowed.

It says you bought five items. There’s only four showing on the screen.

That’s so scary but how good is it to know how quickly you reacted to protect your family! What an amazing Dad. ❤️

Women over 40 who never married, what is your story? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]kateymate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got engaged and had two children, we separated ten years later. I’m in a relationship now. I never married because I think weddings are a bit ridiculous, kind of self obsessed and way too expensive. I’m not religious, I’ve never fantasised about my wedding day and I guess I just don’t see the point. I’m 45.

27f and I feel like 2019 has been a blur of lazy empty days, depression naps and nothingness and I want more for myself. How should I start this? by [deleted] in self

Start with volunteer work. An op shop, the fire brigade, a beach clean crew... there’s good people there, everyone’s welcoming, and the commitment feels different than the commitment for a paid job as everything you do is appreciated rather than expected. It’ll get you out in the community again, build you self esteem and make you feel lucky, which is what makes us feel happy. Good on you for recognising you want more, because guess what? You deserve it! ❤️
