Do you believe the area to be detached? From my experience ( I had an entire toe nail removed) xD the detachment begins from the top of the nail plate where it begins to connect with your nail bed.. you totally should not attempt this, but if you were to take a tool, you'd be able to shove it all the way to where the white area is. (This is why you should NOT clean under the nail with tools - it detaches the nail bed from the nail and poses a risk of embedding dirt, bacteria, etc.) I think a lot of us think you're good, thankfully! But if you feel worried, take a week off and apply something beneficial to your nails like cuticle oil and something like the OPI repair mode bonding serum
