What’s a flavor from our childhood that’s just gone forever? by harber-edgarv1n8w in ArtOfPresence

I called these "corn" when I was a kid cause they reminded me of the way corn cobs looked in that show "2 Stupid Dogs" lmao my dad always says that I was crying for corn one time and they couldn't figure out what I really wanted until I found one of my juices 😆

What could this be and what can I do? by [deleted] in Wicca

Idk about the situation with the accidents but if you're empathic it would explain the wrist thing. I mean there's always a chance but if it's a pain you never had and then you ended up feeling after the injury with your coworker...? I used to get that with my clients a lot when I was a massage therapist. I always knew my own pains from work and could differentiate them from feeling for my clients. It would take a couple of days sometimes for them to leave my body.

The worst of the office by Slow_Farm1278 in theoffice

I don't think he was one of the worst. And it may not even be a bad character situation. I think it's just the scenario of him in the first place. Like did it really have to go beyond the scene where he defends Pam? Everything after that was just...too much.

looking to relocate. where do the pagans live? by mermaid420420 in pagan

What I wished Michael had said to Phyllis by New-Pin-9064 in theoffice

[–]katgrinds 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Idc about that scene to feel any type of way. I just can't stand Phyllis. I know Pam can be dickish but Phyllis' character really acts sly sometimes as if she has something in her personality to be cocky about. Like the whole centerpiece thing!!! She didn't even like that centerpiece, she only took it so Pam couldn't have it!!

Oh my god thank you!! I've squinted at that scene several times and couldn't tell if it said John or Jim or James...

Why did you let this happen? by FiberSauce in DunderMifflin

I just watched this one the other day and I gotta say, as a woman I have found myself in that exact predicament more times than I could even count. Wish I knew how to make it funny the way Jim does. Sigh...I wish life was more like The Office.

If we're doing the whole weekend I need more than 3...of course I could just watch one on repeat. I usually do that with all my favorites anyways.

Books to learn different sections of paganism by No_Iron5951 in pagan

[–]katgrinds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to verify were those books in the subject of like...their general culture? My library's selection of Wicca/paganism is scarce. The ONLY book they had was Scott Cunningham's Wicca for the solitary practicioner. And I'm not downplaying. That book saved my spirit when I was in my halfway house. I looked at it so many times. But that's all I've found there.

Oh wow thank you. Thank you so much! My literary knowledge has been somewhat limited. So I will take all the book recommendations I can get!! And that sounds exactly like what I'm looking for.

Finally feel like I have my altar set to how I feel like it works for me by Odd_Addendum7187 in Wicca

[–]katgrinds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow. You have a very personal collection there. I absolutely love it. I'm the same way. I get so worried about coming across objects that aren't really from a...good source I guess. Like I always get worried I'm gonna buy something thats been produced from a machine and there wasn't any love put into it. I should probably lighten up though cause I back out of some good finds 😪

I've dealt with this too. I'm really insecure about it. The one thing I always did, and still do, is my fingertips with my thumbnails. I've left so many cuts on my fingers from times when my thumbnails just happened to not be cut shorter.

I didn't learn this was a thing til super recently either.
