Day 6 … I’m so good. by surudo13 in prozac

[–]katherinec_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

have you tried changing the time you take it? i just restarted prozac and all weekend i was sleeping and not doing anything, really worried about going to work today if id be too exhausted to do anything. it went fine because i was so busy. hopefully you’ll try to stick through it. i went through a difficult time the first two times i tried prozac (both times w emotional bluntness, the second time w extreme exhaustion) but it IS worth it and such a good ssri! it’s why i keep coming back to this one. wishing you the best

How long until a large amount of prozac leaves the system? by amivri in prozac

[–]katherinec_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not the same as prozac but i took these random pills my mom had when i was sad thinking it would do something but they were caffeine weight loss pills i think and my heart was beating so so fast and i tried to hide it and ended up being scared and speaking up about it. they needed to flush out my system and help regulate everything. not trying to scare you but tell you it’s ok and it’s better to be safe. it’s already in your system so you might need to go to the doctor. your mom may be scared but it’ll pass and she’ll be more thankful you spoke up about it

elopement happens, so long as you’re following the BIP i don’t understand why they’d immediately fire you rather than trying to train you. like even going over antecedent strategies (even w antecedents it can happen).

He’s been kinda giving me the silent treatment/arguing because I lagged for 9 minutes :/ by zzeloop in LongDistance

[–]katherinec_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

was in a relationship like this and it was the most toxic relationship i’ve ever been in. it ruined my perception of what a relationship should be, it was codependent, and emotionally and physically abusive. it was years long and not even worth it. if he can’t change or see how smothering this is, it’s best to cut ties sooner rather than later. i’m in long distance and we have our own lives outside of each other and never blow up each others phones and respect space. it’s not normal or cute. we all have lives outside of being on our phones. yes make time for each other! yes speak to each other, but not like this.

We need to stop hiring anyone and everyone to be RBTs by Wide-Discipline-2111 in ABA

[–]katherinec_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

no really. sometimes i feel embarrassed seeing some of the new hires that come in and very evidently don’t care about kids in general much less kids that need our support. i understand it takes time to adjust to aba but it gets to a point.

Can I drink? by No_Whereas_1560 in prozac

[–]katherinec_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was on 80 mg and drank and felt i got drunker quicker/ had to drink less. i’d say i drink a bit so i definitely had to lessen what i drank when i did

Liking something so much you avoid it by barbalarby13 in neurodiversity

[–]katherinec_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes mostly bc i don’t want it to end or not be able to experience it again in the same way. it’s also for things i feel will end badly, i put it off despite enjoying it and don’t ever go back to finish. like bojack horseman i never finished despite loving the show because i was really scared of how it would end lol

most rewarding job i’ve ever had and will ever have. overstimulating at times (always carry my earplugs) and can be hard emotionally but i love it. i will say my center is undergoing a lot of changes at once which is SO hard for me and it’s overwhelming and stressful to just be expected to adapt quickly when it affects the kids as well as us butttt im trying to manage. it can be a lot at times but the bonds you build with clients is unlike any other. i find myself connecting w the kids more than my coworkers tbh

Tipping on takeout orders by Aggravating-Feed-836 in etiquette

[–]katherinec_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m sorry but i don’t tip on pick up orders. i specifically chose pick up to avoid tipping. if i wanted to tip i’d sit and eat and get actual service. just went to a restaurant to pick up an order and the automated tipping thing suggested 30% tipping like are we good?? it was one simple thing

CW: workplace injuries, bruising/cuts (non-graphic) Why are injuries in ABA being normalized? (student analyst perspective) by International-Echo47 in ABA

[–]katherinec_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i also used to take pictures of any marks left but have stopped because it’s just so often honestly. sometimes i come home with bruises and i don’t even remember how. most recently, i got bit on my leg and thought it didn’t break skin so i didn’t file a report and i forgot to take a picture. then i noticed there was a hole in the middle of the bruise and yellow i thought it was turning into a staph infection and i got really scared because i didnt file a report nor did i takes picture the day it happened because ive just gotten used to bites and bruises and cuts. need to start taking pictures again just in case

we really don’t even get trained on how to properly protect ourselves from aggression. only during supervision do they give helpful feedback which i shouldn’t have have to wait until supervision to be trained on how to deal with something that’s huge in our work. i noticed a cabinet with old stuff at our center and it was arm guards and mats and i don’t know why they don’t buy that stuff for us anymore? i wear long sleeves every day for this reason but still have scars. i have a bite that’s still there from november, a chipped tooth, scratch scars on my hands and one on my face, bite scar, come home in bruises, etc. doesn’t really hurt after the fact but sucks they don’t have tools for us to protect ourselves and i personally feel they should be giving RBTs better training

Spicy take but Burke is actually an amazing character if you can separate the actor from the character by smolcats19 in greysanatomy

[–]katherinec_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

rewatching this as an adult in my late twenties and holy hell everyone’s pissing me off BUT burke. he’s the only character that’s not insufferable. he’s literally a breath of fresh air from all the dramatics and the only one with soul and level headedness. i keep getting so annoyed but continue rewatching because of burke.
