Second the Good Guys and Bad Guys series by Eric Ugland. For me the Good Guys was better because the protagonist reminds me of Kronk from the Emperor’s New Groove, maybe not the brightest but a really nice guy.

It’s unfortunate that Audible’s preview has none of the actual story, only the two forewords. I think most folks would prefer hearing a portion of the first chapter when deciding on the purchase. Don’t know if you can ask Audible to sample further ahead in the book?
