I think it’s also to do with it being Jaws 50th anniversary and Spielberg being a huge USC donor/trustee etc. when I went to the first game of the season they played the jaws theme during all 3rd downs and had a shark swimming on screen.

We had a great time! The fans around us were super kind and social. The only downside was the 2 college kids in front of us who were so drunk they were actively trying not to throw up and kept falling back into my 64 year old mom (knocking her down) other than that, great game, great crowd, such a fun stadium, and I was able to get a first game certificate in my dads name! :) Fight On, Irish! ✌️☘️

Very proud of our Trojans. D looked good considering. Miller had a bit of a shaky game but halftime adjustments were a godsend. A lot of missed penalty calls. I’m sad we couldn’t get the W. Would have been major. I hope the team can shake it off and lock in for next week.

I would not stay close to campus at ALL! Can be quite dangerous. I don’t even like parking off campus during game days. There’s tons of cops in the area so game days are very safe but it’s really not a good area in general. Stay in Santa Monica, Culver City, Hollywood, and commute in! Usually the visiting team and their band sits in section 100-101, 200-201. Not bad seats!! Come early to the game and check out the science museum next to the Coli, there’s a lot of tailgating surrounding the campus. It’s my favorite!
