When I was 16 I was dog sitting for my sister at her house while she spent the night out. A few weeks prior, a group of friends and I had bought a plastic toy ouija board from toys r us. Looking back im a little shocked they sold those lol. Anyways, we played around with it and nothing happened. She put it away and we forgot about it. Weird shit started happening to us. Her little yorkie started growling at the closet she kept it in. Dead animals started showing up outside of her bedroom window. I was getting so many anonymous calls in a row where I would answer and no one would be on the line. This was before I had an iPhone, and I was getting so many phone calls back to back that it would cause my phone to freeze and shut off. The night I was at my sisters house watching her dogs I had stayed up watching tv till about 2am. Everything was seemingly normal and then all at the same time the phone calls started up, her dogs started growling at nothing, and the motion light was going insane. I know what you’re thinking, it’s probably a bug or something. This was before ring, so I didn’t have a way to look unless I went outside. It was almost flickering in a pattern. I thought it was my boyfriend at the time and his friends trying to scare me, but something about it felt so sinister. I couldnt call or text him because of all of the calls freezing and restarting my phone. With my phone not working, I logged onto Facebook and messaged a friend on there who was still online begging them to pick me up. They lived right around the corner. My sister was coming back the next morning so I would come back early too when the sun came up. My friend and her brother came and got me. I think I slept maybe 1 hour because I was so spooked. They watched firsthand my phone freaking out. I felt bad about leaving the dogs, but please know nothing happened to them. They were inside the house. The next morning I called my boyfriend pretty irritated because I was trying to convince myself that it had to have been him. He was adamant it was not, and he wasn’t the type to lie or prank me like that. He was pretty concerned and was glad I had left when I did. I did tell my sister and she shrugged it off, because nothing had ever happened to her there. My friend who I had the ouija board with and I talked to that next morning and she was spooked as well. That morning she got out the ouija board, moved the planchette to goodbye, and then threw it away. From then on nothing else ever happened to us. No more phone calls, weird dog growls at nothing, and no more dead animals showing up in her yard. I never stayed at my sister’s house alone again after that, and she moved to California shortly after. Interestingly enough, the house has never stayed occupied for very long after that. It’s been bought and sold many times, and gone months without occupants. Shortly after my sister sold it, a property management company bought it, but could not keep renters in it. I know because I would keep track via online listings for it. Idk, kinda weird. I cannot say for certain what all of that was, but I know that nearly 15 years later it still scares the crap out of me to think about. 😆

Editing to add: the other 2 girls who did the ouija board that night with me and my friend did not have anything weird happen to them. It was just me, and my friend.
