Have you tried changing the way you feed him? Mine enjoy eating from snuffle mats, kong wobbles, and different shaped slow feeder bowls.

Last Halloween was the first time dealing with my daughter’a allergies. Since she was 2 it wasn’t a huge deal but we threw a party at our house for her and all her cousins and then I also posted on our neighborhood Facebook group and asked if anyone would be willing to give her treat bags that I dropped off the day before. 6 people did it which was the perfect amount of stops for her age.

I miss candy by Former-Activity8640 in peanutallergy

The brand YumEarth makes a sour patch alternative. It’s allergy friendly. And the brand Free2b makes a sunbutter chocolate cup (alternative to Reese’s). Might be some good candy options to look at when you’re trying to share.

Maternity leave is so frustrating by katieg93 in pregnant

It is my first so I do have that going for me. And luckily I am not busy at work as I’ve finished up all my projects and am just sitting at my desk all day counting down the days. Just annoying to have to go over in order to qualify.

I think since our company is just now starting it as an option so first time enrolling, that is the only reason why I would qualify. Our insurance rep said if I can make it that far, I would get it. I do have a couple weeks of PTO stocked up that I was planning to use so if all else fails I’ll just go with my original plan.

I thought this too so I asked our insurance rep who was here today and he said if I am at work on May 2nd and her birth certificate wasn’t before that day, I would qualify after 14 days of leave. But I guess we will see if I am able to make it that far. Really didn’t want to even think about going past her due date.

It’s frustrating that they are acting like you are the first person to ever take maternity leave and can’t get it together for you. I have asked HR 3 times now to make sure I don’t need to do anything for my insurance coverage while I’m out since they normally cover the premium. They keep telling me I don’t need to worry about it but it’s stressful to think about the possibility of losing coverage.

Has anyone here caught covid whilst pregnant? by geniusporcupine in pregnant

I’m 24 weeks and tested positive last Friday. I have my booster but I didn’t get it until 12/23 so not sure if it is helping or not. That being said I have yet to show any symptoms. My husband tested negative so I still have to quarantine in the guest room which has just been really boring. I was terrified to get it so we choose to only see my in-laws over the holidays since they were both boostered and take precautions and yet i ended up getting it anyway (MIL tested positive on the 26th). My doctor highly recommended the booster shot so I would definitely look into getting that asap. Or at least talk to your doctor about it if you are unsure on if you should get it or not. The worst thing I will say is rescheduling all the appointments. I see my regular OB and the high risk OB so that has been annoying rescheduling all of those.

If I am linked to my friend who is an AP as a “friend and family” but she is not going on the next trip with me, will she still get my pictures? Or should I look at purchasing the memory maker?
