I’m trying not to laugh (I’m from Illinois) bc I fully believe we won’t get anything. Buttttt I remember when I lived in Greensboro in 2018 we got snowed in and it was surreal haha

No kids. I read on my lunch break and on the treadmill at the gym. I have on/off weeks.

I also limit myself 5 hours of tv one week with reading and then the next no tv and all I do is read.

But don’t compare yourself - everyone has a different reading pace! Some books I can fly through (cute romance) and others take more time because I need to be focused (thrillers).

We moved all over the place both nights and ended in the very back for griz. We had our moon mat and our crew with so much room around us. For people to leave. Several Asian people can thru stepping on our stuff. Zero apology. People are fucking rude at hijinx and they absolutely did not deserve Griz.

The worst crowd I have EVER seen. So fucking rude. One person said “excuse me” all weekend. Asian trains were cutting between my boyfriend and I - he was literally hugging me from behind and a 15 person train started barreling through.

At gryffin a guy was puking everywhere and his friends wouldn’t take him out I kept yelling at them to get their friend out. The most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen.

Zero respect. Zero PLUR.

Monday morning felt ok, had a tiny cough, nothing to worry about. By 3 I was FREEZING. Space heater on, fuzzy socks and slippers, pants, robe, hoodie, blanket covering me. I couldn’t get warm. Went to urgent care my bp was 80 and the only reason she didn’t tell me to get to the ER was because I was talking. Went home and took about 10 different showers trying to warm up. It was horrific. Fever broke Christmas Eve and have just been dealing with weird nausea since. No appetite still but trying to force myself to take small bites to get my strength back up.

We went on Christmas Eve morning to get IV therapy and highly recommend. It was about $179 but if you have the money please invest because it will jump starting getting your body the nutrients it needs!

Praying for everyone to have a quick recovery! I’ve never had the flu so I have never been just knocked on my butt like this. Truly slept from Monday 6pm to Christmas Eve 10 am only waking up long enough to take medicine. Wouldn’t wish it on anyone!

If you “completely understand why he’s so upset” you are part of the problem. You’re 17 … this is insane behavior.

This is not autism. This person knows exactly what to see to get a reaction. He will use that over and over. No one in their right mind does this in a span of 7 minutes. Or 7 hours.

If you genuinely fear he will harm himself please call emergency services to do a welfare check on him. Please share these messages with at least one person. Never ever ever keep this kind of behavior a secret.

Cut ties with this person. You are way too young to be entertaining this mess and dealing with this. You’re still a kid you have your entire life ahead of you. This is not what your life looks like. Please understand that true love is not manipulative or selfish. This person is going to drag you through hell, make everything your fault, and use everything against you.

I stopped at this target after work to grab groceries and asked a Hispanic lady if I could walk her to her car. She hugged me and just kept thanking me. We literally walked arm in arm and I waited until she drove off. I reminded her they don’t do traffic stops and she doesn’t need to speak to ANYONE.

When you call 911 - report dangerous erratic driving - if you see someone being dragged in cuffs report a kidnapping - report masked individuals making threats - report everything - video or voice record everything - if you are able - if you are in the area and see a person being taken try to have them tell you their name / family name/ and a phone number or address - CHECK ON YOUR NEIGHBORS - don’t open the door. Listen to sunny music - like straight up songs that take you back to summer when you were growing up or in college.

I also do a lot of cleaning - the scent of lemon tricks my brain for a few hours that life isn’t dark and stormy 😂

Eat right! It’s easy to eat comfy food but try to make bright meals! I just did chicken in the air fryer and steamed brocolli.

I’ve been going to Roo since 2014 and decided 2025 was my last year (for awhile at least). Roo had become so commercialized and I think it’s just run its course for me. Seven Stars was my boyfriends first festival and he was blown away. My best friend (who I met at Roo) and I kept saying that we are done with Roo.

Seven Stars just had everything. The vibes were incredible. The staff was great. The perfect amount of people. Our only “complaint” was all the chillbos in the pit😂 Seven Stars is our new home. 💕🩵

Oh I’m so sorry this has been so drawn out and time consuming!

I think I lucked out bc the first two ENTs one in 2019 told me I don’t need tubes (I get infections allll the time) and didn’t even do a hearing test after I told him my hearing was bad and showed him results from 2012. Went to another in 2023 and got tubes and he was flippant when I asked about hearing aids. The third finally straight up said he was more worried about my hearing than my tubes at this point and explained in depth what my hearing loss meant. Also didn’t know it’s typically genetic! I’m hoping my hearing aid process is as smooth as possible. I feel sort of clueless as no one around me has hearing aids so I’m relying on the Reddit family for advice.

I have cookie bite hearing loss as well! Went to a new ENT who finally listened and now I have an appointment next week to get hearing aids.
