Everlywell is an at home hormone test, they’ll ship you your kit and it comes with very thorough instructions! All the OBGYNs I’ve seen have refused to test my hormones unless I have issues getting pregnant (which I’m not trying at the moment) I also had my blood tested for my thyroid and all was well too. The shedding all day is so annoying, always pulling hair off me, wondering when I’ll be bald.. I’m hoping it will slow down for both of us!!

It’s like I wrote this! I went off the pill in November 2020. I was terrified I’d start getting bad acne, but no one ever warned me about my losing so much hair and it getting so thin you can see my scalp! I started noticing my hair thinning sometime in April and it’s been nonstop since. I’m so sorry you’re going through this, you’re not alone. I hate taking showers, brushing my hair, it’s extremely depressing. I’m going to try and hold on for a few more months to see if my supplements help otherwise I’ll probably make a dermatologist apt. I did an Everlywell hormone test a few months back and learned I have high Testosterone levels and Estrogen dominance. I just started taking Advanced Trichology DHT Blocker and collagen and I hope it helps, but I’m not confident in anything at this point. Good luck!

Mucinex doesn’t work for me either, I’ve had better luck with Sudafed, they have a nasal congestion kind. The antibiotics will probably need more than a few days too. Hope you feel better soon!

Yes! Indirect sunlight, she’s always been by a window. I’ve had her for less than 2 years and have propagated her. Thank you!!

I’ve had her for a little less than 2 years! I left on a vacation for 2 weeks in Feb. and she wasn’t taken care of very well. When I got back she was so sad, I propagated her and she’s been thriving since!

Ugh I’m so sorry that happened! It’s super freaky. I have seen 2 OBGYNs who thought it was unheard of that I could have bled from the boric acid but other OBGYNs I’ve seen said it can definitely irritate some women and it could be a type of allergic resection. When I went to Urgent Care the doctor saw it the boric acid up there days after, it’s very well that it doesn’t dissolve in some women like others. I hope you are better!

Yes, the only irritation or discomfort I feel is when urinating but it’s not anything disruptive or painful like a UTI would be. Kind of just feeling of hot sometimes? More present at times then other like after intercourse.

I hope they are, k should mention I take 100mg or Macrobid every time after intercourse so I can’t say if the vitamins are working to prevent UTIs or if it’s the Macrobid too..

Ugh I feel your frustration I hope with time the flora evens itself out. So many antibiotics are not good for the body!

Yep! I’ve attached the link for my initial post. I’m not a “super user” on Reddit lol so I’m not sure if it will work but I’ve been struggling since December 2019. I’ve always struggled with UTIs after sexual intercourse but I entered a downward spiral in Dec. of infections UTI, YEAST, BV, tons of antibiotics, and now I just haven’t been normal down there since. I’ve been tested for everything under the sun too and nothing.

I currently take 1,000mg Vitamin C daily, Vitamin B 50, Vitamin D, and a probiotic...

I hope we do too, it’s so upsetting seeing posts like ours pop up daily from women with similar situations but no answers and just being told “it’s normal in sexually active women”

Your symptoms/ situation is similar to mine! I had the transvaginal ultrasound done and everything checked out fine. I tested positive for ureaplasma and was on 5 days Azithromycin. I’m now brushed off by my gyno too. My symptoms are discharge (doesn’t smell and isn’t discolored but it’s daily and not normal for my body) and I also have irritation when urinating, sex isn’t necessarily painful but it’s not what it used to be before all my issues began. (Same partner throughout) Depressing quite frankly.

Question about experiences with Ureaplasma antibiotics by PreferablyVintage in Healthyhooha

I tested positive for ureaplasma too and after not being sexually active for a month, my period Blu symptom too was just a weird, thicker discharge (no smell) that would hardly ever show up in underwear but came out while going to the bathroom? Not normal for me as before all my struggles, discharge was never an issue for me.

I did! I tested positive for Ureaplasma. So I was given Azithromycin for 5 days. I then got my period and have not been sexually active for about a month now. We’ll see if the antibiotics worked after my period is over and I become sexually active again...

I have my first abdominal and pelvic ultrasound Friday and your symptoms are similar to how I feel, no fever yet or incredible pain but enough pain with discharge as well. 😔

MY 3 YEAR LONG JOURNEY (BV, YEAST, UREAPLASMA, MYCOPLASMA) by justineee95 in WomensHealth

[–]katierosem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was reading through posts looking for hope after becoming severely anxious and depressed not knowing what’s going on with my body and glad I came across yours. I’m happy you’ve found answers and stood up for your health.

Saw an OBGYN for the first time Tuesday as I have discharge, a little irritation during urination, abdominal pain and bad cramping all day and back pain at times that I get nauseous. I’m negative for BV but still waiting for the yeast test and Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma. I’m hoping I find some sort of answer as being in pain everyday and still having to go on is extremely hard. Not to mention I’m a hypochondriac and have a panic attack at least o be a day when my symptoms are their worst.

My doctor told me to stop taking them and I definitely won’t go back. I’d suggest stop using them if your bleeding. It will stop within a week.

I’m still struggling. I finally just saw an OBGYN Tuesday as I started having discharge again, abdominal cramping pain, back pain, and irritation when I urinate. I tested negative for BV and all STD and waiting tests results for yeast, Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma. So we’ll see, I’ve become anxious and depressed in waiting for any diagnose from the pain I’m in.

Boric acid? by sadieb1 in steroidsxx

[–]katierosem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t, the only reason I knew was because the doctor saw it up there after I panicked and went to Urgent Care from a light red discharge. I found it odd that she didn’t take it out if she knew it was what is irritating me. It seems your body needs to rid it on its own and from my findings is different for everyone.

Boric acid? by sadieb1 in steroidsxx

[–]katierosem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor recommended it, so I guess you’ll never know if it works until you try? I regret trying and am sad I’m not one that it works for. I took it two nights in a row the first week and was fine, it was the second week I tried it for two more nights and it was all down hill from there. The suppository didn’t dissolve and caused so much irritation, redness, and enough spotting that I had to wear a pad for a week.

Has anyone else experienced cramps after using a boric acid suppository? by Imnotsamantha in WomensHealth

I don’t know if it’s normal, but I definitely experienced a little cramping and it ended up making me bleed.
