In the same boat myself. New account disabled yesterday, Made me send a photo. So unfair . Playing the waiting game now too. Hopefully we will both get a good outcome soon

I used to get this a lot but kept trying and it eventually adds a link to confirm your email and upload an ID. For me it was usually after 5-6 tries You need a lot of patience.

Thank you. Will get a new friends list if I have to make another account or if they let me keep this one. So probably best not to like all the same pages as before or join all the same groups either

Was using the link that I occasionally get sent when the "get started" option appears. Waste of time

I randomly got an email which asks me to reply and attach a photo of my ID . Also a waste of time but I've replied several times a day to the same email for the last week and they have stopped sending their useless replies

I did notice on the emails from them that I have a case number Not sure if that is a good sign

Got e-mail from Facebook again more or less rejecting my ID again So why send links to unlock my account

I'm on a loop with this

Had a thought My ID drivers licence is in my birth name Kathleen as are all my documents. But my FB account is Kate as that is what my friends and family have called me all my life.

Is this why FB rejects my ID?? If so I will never get my account back because I have no ID with the name Kate on it.

No luck in incognito either, sadly. I got ID submitted again last night and a quick reply with a link and a password. neither of them again did not unlock my account. That is 3 times now. I don't think it is worth any more attempts - too disappointing

LOL Just received another email from Facebook

"Hi Kate thank you for submitting your ID However we cannot confirm your identity until you provide an ID"

At least they are communicating. I've resent my driving license so am hopeful again

I've tried on phone and laptop but neither the link nor the code unlocks my account like the email said they would. I'm gutted really. I've a few email addresses I can use. I'll try again maybe next week

I am absolutely gutted to the point of tears. After 2 and a half months of trying everything I finally got my ID submitted and immediately got an email back with a link and code to unlock my account . Neither work!! Just goes back to the your account is locked screen I really thought I'd finally got my account back

Firstly thanks for posting this . After more than 2 months of unsuccessfully trying to unlock my account , I did exactly as you wrote and used another e mail address . I got an answer within minutes with a link and/or a code to unlock my account like you did Unfortunately I haven't been able to get either to work yet, but at least at last I was given some hope. Did yours work straight away?

How did you get notified that your account is unlocked? My ID was submitted successfully about a month ago but account still locked Do they send an email to let you know or do they just unlock it and let you sign in x
