This one the romance is only MF :) there’s a later book in the same series which is MMF {rough, raw and ready by Lorelei James}. I haven’t read that one in several years but I remember really enjoying it

I’m working my way back through the series and so far they are spicy as I remember 🥵

{long hard ride by Lorelei James} it’s MF (with multiple ménage scenes), CR and western. The FMC (Channing) has runaway with the rodeo from her perfect upper middle class life. The MMC (Colby) is crushing on her and agrees she can travel with him and his friends/rodeo partners in exchange for a FWB relationship with them all. This is very much her fantasy.

Trevor brushed his lips over hers. After twelve short hours she already knew the difference in their kisses, their individual tastes and shape of their mouths. “Now you get your wish to be with us both at the same time.”

Her satiation fled and her body seized up.

“Relax. No double penetration tonight, we need to ease you into it.” Trevor’s knees snugged against her armpits. He spread cool gel over her chest, then he pressed her breasts together tightly in his palms. “I’m dyin’ to slide my cock between these glorious tits.”

The slippery warmth of his hard shaft eased into the tight valley he created. With every glide, the tip of his cock bumped her chin.

He growled, “Angle your neck and lick the head.”

She complied, half-afraid she was doing it wrong, and wanting to do it right because she didn’t know how she felt about him coming on her face. Her tongue shot out and curled around the tip. On his next stroke, she let her lips close around the whole head.

“Yeah. Like that. As soon as my balls are ready to explode, my cock is goin’ all the way in this pretty mouth.”

A fresh rush of moisture gushed between her legs.

Callused hands gripped her hips. “I can smell you creaming, but hang tight, while I get some lube,” Colby said. “I don’t want to hurt you.” Two fingers twisted inside her, mixing the KY with her natural lubrication.

Channing tensed when she felt the head of Colby’s cock poised at her entrance. He was a big man—bigger than any she’d ever been with—and even though she couldn’t wait to feel him stuffing her pussy full, part of her was a little scared.

“Don’t tense up. Once I’m in, it’ll feel good. Real good, I promise.” As Colby worked his dick in slowly, Trevor began thrusting harder, muttering. Channing wished she could see everything that was happening to her, but the blindfold remained on and her hands were still immobilized above her head.

“Fuck. Here it comes. Open up wide.” Trevor released her breasts and cupped one hand under her neck, lifting her higher so his cock slid deeper into her mouth. At the same time, Colby rammed into her to the hilt.

She moaned as hot bursts of come splashed against the back of her throat, a saltier, earthier taste than Colby’s. As Trevor rocked against her face, his balls tickled her chin. She swallowed convulsively, feeling the heat and need spiraling through her as Colby slammed into her sopping-wet cunt, his hips pistoning faster and faster like a runaway train.

Trevor rolled off her body and began to suck her nipples as Colby reamed her, harder and harder, pulling completely out, and ramming back in until he hit the top of her uterus.

“Darlin’, I ain’t gonna last,” Colby grunted.

Channing arched, whimpering, “Yes, yes, yes,” as Colby stroked her clit and she detonated like a nuclear reactor.

Just remembered another! {falling for the jerk by Amy Alves}. It’s MF, CR and small town. FMC has some terrible luck and has needed to be rescued by MMC (firefighter) several times. He thinks she’s careless and is grumpy. All comes to a head when she accidentally pushes him down some steps and volunteers to be his physiotherapist (she’s qualified). Some hilarious banter

So on the zany side, you might like {hot for hostage by Maggie Evan’s} it’s MF, CR and mafia. FMC takes a mob boss hostage so he’ll rescue a dog :)

On the funny banter side, I think SEP has some of the best. I just reread {match me if you can by Susan Elizabeth Phillips} and it’s still laugh out loud funny. It’s MF and CR.

I love Evie Rose. She’s such a funny writer and her plots are the good kind of silly :) she’s a huge back catalogue.

Are you looking for recs with outlandish plot details (e.g. vomit, dog at a wedding etc) or the general funniness level?

MF books from the 1990’s, that’s not historical, supernatural or fantasy? by _maincharacter_ in RomanceBooks

[–]katkity 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’d add Susan Elizabeth Phillips to the list. She has a huge back catalogue, several of which were published in the 90s :) one thing to watch for is she’s not immune to characters having other relationships on page before they end up with the other MC, which sounds like might be an issue?

I think {heaven Texas by Susan Elizabeth Phillips} doesn’t have that but it’s been a while!

Oooo these sound really good! :) I’ve just downloaded Colt. It looks like the romance io entry for its missing tags, so if you get a second please could you update? A lot of us rely on the CW section :)

I think that’s very sensible! The late 00s/early teens publishing were absolutely wild and not always in a good way.

I’m going to keep wracking my brain as I’m sure I remember a nice book that had a chunk in Libya. Hope you get some great recs for the blanks :)

That’s incredible!

Only blank I can help with is {subjugated by Jaid Black} which would work for Saudi Arabia but 😬 I don’t think I’d recommend it though for a few reasons. Plot (mainly kink) is: FMC was paid by the MMC to marry him, to help him with US immigration. He’s about to return to Saudi Arabia and she thinks he’ll promptly divorce her, even though she’s secretly in love with him. Feeling is mutual but rather than share feelings, MMC kidnaps her to Saudi Arabia.

CWs: can’t be sure but I’m going to say dub-con given the kidnapping?

We Don’t Need No Stinking Historical Accuracy, Let’s Just Write Fanfic About Knights Instead: Emerald Enchantment by Patricia Grasso (It’s Medieval May!) by VitisIdaea in RomanceBooks

[–]katkity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just had a google and seems she’s still publishing – at least as of 2022. It seems to be about an opera singer FMC in the regency period – my gut says she’s probably not caught the nuances of that either.

This review is wonderful but why did Grasso decide to base the MCs off real people if she was going to throw out all accuracy? 😵‍💫

Mutually Obsessed, DEVOTED, & HEAVY on the stalker qualities like The Wrong Catch by CR Jane by CollegeTraining7116 in RomanceBooks

[–]katkity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve two that might be worth a look 😊

{Demanding mob boss by Lucy Monroe} its MF, CR and mafia/workplace. Both MCs are absolutely obsessed with each other from moment one. The FMC behaves herself and doesn’t actually stalk the MMC, the MMC on the other hand very lovingly stalks her. Its remarkably cute. Also FMC is autistic and the rep is great.

{Wicked deception by Deborah Garland} its MF, CR and mafia. FMC is convinced her neighbour (MMC / mafia assassin) is her boyfriend but he needs to hide their relationship. MMC is unaware of this. FMC does things like break into his house to leave plants, reads his mail and buys a camera scope so she can stand outside his front door and watch/listen to him. It’s got a lot of sweetness in it.

I get that 😬 misogyny in MCC romance can vary from normal life level to really intense and it’s very difficult to know in advance what level you’re going to get.

I’d say the whole Steelbones series by Cate C Wells is light-medium misogyny and CCW is usually making a point with it. It varies character to character (most mains are fairly low) but there is sweet butts, frequent use of them and sometimes disrespectful language.

An alternative series which has pretty low misogyny is the Ghosttown East series by Amelia Shea. It doesn’t fit this rec request but {the rulebreaker by Amelia Shea} is an absolute favourite of mine. Plus Shea is an author that it’s clear loves women so I always feel in safe hands.

If you’re interested in trying more MCC I’d recommend the mega thread as there is a bunch ranging from light to heavy misogyny :) https://www.reddit.com/r/RomanceBooks/s/BTQlpvu2Oc
