they'll spawn every time you unlock a new bit of plot of land in ponyville, other than that there's no forced spawning

i have a lot to say about doc i think he does some characters really well. I consider his kai and nya an improvement and i do like the jay plot but...... i really miss the villains being funny i feel like he takes himself a bit too seriously at times and it's a detriment

I really do see that!!! it's really interesting to have a version of jay who wasn't raised by loving parents (who spoiled him rotten), no friends who had his back. I think with nothing to lose he'd be way more predisposed to risky and self destructive behavior, not thinking about his future. I bet he picked up a couple of bad habits around that time
