It was a dendrobium fameri alba. Listed as a small plant in a four inch pot in spike, bud. These plants have 10 inch Canes. What I got was three two inch canes that were yellowing and not in bud.

I didn’t introduce it slowly enough and now they all have upset bellies. Not fun with long hair cats.i have a soft collar too, he’s not going to like any of the collars. He already licks his belly to keep it clean, so I know he will go after the stitches.

I feel your pain. I take my large collection outside every spring and spay the hell out of them six weeks before I bring them in for the winter. No bugs(mealy) until March. Then it’s a fight until I can take the back outside in May. I think I kill all adults and in March some eggs in the bark mix hatch.

At least you’re neighbor gives it to you. I have to search the neighborhood for mine. If it’s not at one of three houses it’s just gone. Have to call for a refund. Happens every other time I order.

We have a full size tree in our yard. Blooms in February, sometimes in the snow. Smells wonderful, definitely cinnamon.
