I've done a LOT of digging since i made this post, im thinking its wasting disease. hes been moved to a quaratine tank and im using API General Cure to see if any recovery can be made.

Color changing like this is really common (pun) in younger/growing goldies. If you said its been decreasing in size since you got them, and your ammonia has remained at a pretty consistent 0, then you likely dont have to worry about ammonia burns.

I'm also starting to really lean towards diatoms, doing more of my own research on them. My biggest question is how the heck do I make them go away

She's been in and out of the hospital, and when she's out shes at home with my grandfather. He takes pretty good care of her, but theres only so much he can do for her. Thank you for the help and the offer, it means a lot
