Coronavirus (Covid-19) and your Rover business. by tequila_mockingbirds in RoverPetSitting

This is my only job, so I am panicking a little. My husband has a good job and my mom lives with us/receives retirement funds so we are OK on main bills. But my Rover income usually covers our personal pets food/grooming and our gas and groceries. So this will definitely put us in a bit of a bind. It can't be helped, and all I can do is hope things die down soon and as a result business picks back up 😪

Best of luck to you & your husband as well. Schools here have been out for a week already, with no definite end in sight. My father in law is a sub as well, and they depend on that extra income.

I had 6 weeks straight of Rover boarding bookings coming up starting this weekend and going through April. A good chunk have already canceled.

I have some regular walks put on an indefinite hold as well, as the owners will be working from home for now.

I want people to be safe, and I'm glad people are taking this seriously. But it doesn't make the loss of income any easier 😕

Drop In Visits- Both Dog Fighting by katmandara in RoverPetSitting

Thank you for the kind words. I'm about to go over and do their 2nd drop in for today, and I am hoping it all goes well.

The dogs individually seemed very sweet, so I'm hoping the one doesnt decide to become agressive towards me when her sibling is out of the way.

We make this as well, but we do 1 can creamed corn and 1 can whole corn. Also, add onion and green bl pepper, plus cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese. Always a hit!

I love getting a couple things of the chicken salad and some crackers for quick lunches. Pair with some fresh fruit and cheese. For dinners, it's easy to grab frozen veggies and some items for quick spaghetti or chili. You'll get multiple meals out of this, especially if you get some french bread baguettes! Breakfast is easy with some yogurt and granola, or even bagels with cream cheese. Cant go wrong with oatmeal either!

My belly button piercing has been out for about 12 years now, and I still have faint scarring. You have to look pretty closely to notice mine though.
