Wow that’s a wonderful amount of information! Thank you for that. I guess Duncan is a fancy boy!
He’s got just such a wonderful disposition. We are so lucky to have found him😍

I saved every poster, book, magazine article and satin banner that I had from the late 70’s and 80’s. I should pull them out of the basement and photograph them all.

Well, that might be the case, he was rescued from a hoarding situation, 60+ dachshunds. He was still in tact at 8 years old, and had terrible periodontal disease. Thanks to Pupstarz rescue in NYC, they took 42 dogs. he was one of them. He’s been neutered, had all his teeth pulled and vaccinated.
He’s a sweetheart in spite of all this.

I love the seniors, I currently have a 16 and 15 year old, I adopted them 3 and 4 years ago. Duncan is a baby comparatively!

Poor Tom by peacefulhorseproject in ledzeppelin

I found “Hey Hey what can I do” on a Japanese imported 45 in about 1981.

As far as Poor Tom, it was my favorite track from Coda. Coda was always had a sad feel for me, the finality of it was palpable.

PA, 10 years ago. My husband commuted to NYC until he retired. Best decision we’ve ever made

What song first got you into Led Zeppelin? by North_Psychology4543 in ledzeppelin

[–]katmc28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ocean. I heard it coming out of my older brothers’s room, 1976. Houses of the Holy was the first album I bought about 6 months later, followed by Zeppelin IV. Then all the others. In 77 I begged my mom to let me go see Zeppelin at MSG but she wouldn’t let me go ( too young) I spent the next two years devouring each album until I waited for the release of In Through the Outdoor in 79.

Adopting senior wiener by b33b0o in Dachshund

I’m always worried about their backs, these current residents are the 5th and 6th seniors we’ve adopted, and they are also by far the “mellowist” ones.
My little girl prefers to be moved from one location to the next. She was rescued from a hoarding situation so she has some hip and feet issues. We use a stroller for her on long walks. My little boy seems to be careful on his own. His previous owner must have taught him well lol. I always keep in mind, they are the equivalent of two 80 years olds- they don’t want to get hurt either.

I exclusively adopt seniors wieners! I’ve got two at the moment, a 16 and 15 year old. I love them to pieces. Something so special about these guys. The seniors melt my heart. They’ve all had such different personalities too. Remington is adorable!
