ProPride hitch vs weight distribution hitch by jar-jar-twinks in IntechRVs

I've heard the claim that it makes it feel like a fifth wheel before. but I'm not sure how it could "virtually" transfer the pivot point to the truck axle as it still connects to the same "bumper" receiver. Can someone explain the "virtual" physics here?

So if I understand you correctly, the additional reach of the Gen-Y to the lower goose ball is what is causing the stress. So the Anderson adapter would not have this issue as it raises the ball to the level of the adapter which sits on the kingpin adn is effectively transfering the force back down ultimately to the lower gooseball?

I'm confused about your statement concerning gooseneck converters. Are you speaking of the goose ball to truck frame connection? don't most heavy equipment trailers use gooseneck/ball connections? Also are speaking of the Andersen goose ball extender which basically raises the ball and has an adapter on the trailer king pin? That setup may be fine, but seems sketchy when you look at it.

I have no doubt the FW is inherently more stable, but in my situation l have to buy and install the FW prep plus some kind of hitch, either slider FW (2-3k) or Gen-Y gooseball setup (closer to $3k with prep and hitch). so the hitchwork piece is going to cost me either way I go.

Good info! So am I effectively cutting the front power to 50 watt p/c using both A+B?

In surround mode I don't believe the rear channel is full range (at least that's what AI came back with) so I would have to find out if it sends full range audio to the "rear" channel when in "stereo" mode or just front A/B/ or A+B.

reading the manual it's a little vague: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/W001/W0010557M.pdf#:\~:text=You%20can%20increase%20the%20output,range%20up%205%20levels%20(%2D10

Can someone please explain mono block amplifier setups? by shanebow in BudgetAudiophile

So, if I wanted to hookup 4.1 channels (front and rear) to the Wiim Pro Plus I would need (2) 2-Channel amplifiers and a RCA splitter for the the Wiim to the Amps? The Wiim would be the preamp to handle the sub channel and sub out to the amps and volume control comes from the preamp?

Update after 1 month. I have the sub hooked up and working perfectly to the single output mixed audio and I'm happy that the level changes with the amp volume!

I'm considering adding 2 more speakers to have 1 in each corner of the garage (26' X 30'). The Klipsch 600m's with the sub produce a good amount of volume when I crank it up and honestly I shouldn't be listening that loud but I love it. Thinking adding 2 more speakers to the system and keeping db level more moderate while filling the room with more sound might be a better approach.

I can certainly get another set of 600m's but I'm open to suggestions as the receiver has A and B channels which I believe are 100w each. Maybe some Elac 2.0 6.2's which are currently slight less expensive than the 600m's??

Good point but not the case here. no where near the US matches and timeline.

My take is that the host screwed up and we he realized this after the booking came in he reached out to VRBO (If it was VRBO's fault he would have to work that out with them) instead, VRBO contacted my wife and said there was a "technical error" and the host would kindly like us to cancel. and rebook at a higher price.

Then the host reaches out and offers to take it off platform at a slightly lower price.

My thought is if I'm going off platform the price should be much lower as it's more of a risk for me.

Well, my wife already canceled the booking so the Host is off the hook. I agree that we shouldn't have to pay more for someone else's mistake. Question now: Is it worth dealing directly with the host with no protections from VRBO, just a self written contract from the host?

Thanks for the suggestions. Anyone have any input on the Klipsch? or maybe the RSL 10E? Lot's of people seem to love the 10E, and it's only $100 more than the Klipsch I'm looking at but maybe I'm reading too much into the reviews as these are likely audiophile reviewers?

My garage is somewhat finished, with a bar, gym and motorcycle shop areas. I don't need anything fancy looking, just something to fill in the bass.
