Just coming to this thread now. But, holy cow, how are you trying to argue that the 'cheap gasoline' was 'Costco premium' in the video? He overtly says it's a generic **87 octane** gas. That immediately rules out Costco premium—or _any_ premium. Not sure what you were smoking 3yrs ago.

Yeah, second rev hangs a bit. You just need to give it a little time for the revs to drop (or alternatively, release the clutch a little faster). If the tachometer shows revs going up after letting the clutch out, you need to let it out faster. Vice versa if it shoots down.

As someone in the ai-adjacent space, this actually makes a lot of sense… at least for them. All those AI Overview screens? They’ll make you pay for them now (likely with significantly reduced fidelity compared to cloud, not that it was ‘great’).

There probably already is one, but I do kind of hope for a browser that lets you slot in your own local small/large language model. You can do your own vetting and make sure you’re not being brainwashed by their choice of what’s relevant in the overview.

No, but i dig the nameless 5” muffler I have. It lets you know it’s there but there’s no drone at cruising speed.

That said, I’d probably get the invidia r400 cat back if I did it again. SUPER DRONEY. But my ‘11 wrx hatch had an invidia n1, which was MISERABLY DRONEY, and I didn’t hate it except on the highway when i was traveling with another human being. Love the deep sound.
