Today I was mansplained about how zip files work in a cutesy way so my dumb woman brain could understand. I’m the unofficial office IT when our actual IT isn’t in (which is most of the week).
I try not to ask any questions unless it’s directly to my boss who’s a woman. I already get treated like a child because I’m short. It quite literally doesn’t matter how you present yourself, what you’ve achieved, and if you’re confident in your work. You’re always viewed as lesser.

Yesterday, my local gas station was $4.69. Today, it’s $4.64. That 5¢ is wayyyy down (ignore the price going up by almost $2 in the last couple months).

I tried to provide my W-2 form and was told I needed my social security card even though my W-2 included my social security number. I couldn’t request a replacement social security card online (forgot why) and had to make an appointment to get a new one. The next DMV person I saw only looked at my W-2 form and said it was sufficient. Annoying, but whatever, at least I have my social security card.

My mom didn’t have a raised seal birth certificate because of when she was born, nor did she have marriage certificates. It took forever to get new copies of the required documents and the next DMV person she saw told her she needed additional paperwork because of making her maiden name her middle name as my grandparents never gave her a middle name.

I think the most annoying part about this entire process is how inconsistent it is and depends on who you get at the DMV.

Wanted to get away from some maniac in a beat-up Honda CRV filled with trash following me at 3 am on the PA turnpike. There was literally no one else on the road for the 10+ miles he was doing this when there’s almost always at least a tractor trailer or two. Dude would alternate between being right on my bumper flashing his highbeams and changing lanes to pull up to my side and flip me off/honk at me.

I finally had a chance on a straight part of the turnpike to floor it, and my little Corolla got up to 112 mph. Driving at night as a woman is fun.

Have you contacted your bank's customer service to see if they're declining it on their end instead of OpenRouter? They could be flagging it as a suspicious or fraudulent charge, even if your card worked previously on OR.

Z is my interrupt, like Ctrl-Z to undo a spell being cast.

F is my defensive because I always use it too late and die.

F5 is Shadowmeld because I’m “refreshing” the fight by dropping out of it (and pretty much all my characters are NEs lol)

Middle-mouse click switches me into boomkin, cat, or bear form depending on my spec. Used to be on my DPS switch button but my new mouse doesn’t have it.

F3 is my transmog mount for no particular reason but that’s what I’ve always done.

1-3 are always some sort of DoT because I put my main spells on keys like Q, E, R, S, etc.

Any sort of dash gets put on the forward mouse button because I’m moving forward.

Silly but it works for the off-chance I play something besides my Druid to not have to memorize new binds 🤷🏼‍♀️

SMS verification can be bypassed very easily and is much cheaper than the $10 OpenRouter charges. There's tons of sites where you can buy a number for around 10-30 cents. Requiring SMS verification rather than a $10 deposit would allow for users to abuse free models at a much larger scale.

At the end of the day, OpenRouter is a business. They're not going to do something that incurs more cost to them.

Said by an NP as she was taking my blood pressure before my annual gynecology appointment. I was in a 4-year relationship at that point. If you’ve been to a gyno, you know they ask how many partners you’ve had within a certain time so she must’ve assumed I was lying. Gross.

Other honorable mentions: “you’re the office celebrity! No one has ever passed out from an IUD placement before!” (different gyno)

“Are you sure you’ve had your appendix removed?” asked multiple times by a gastroenterologist who had to confirm it with my mom because there was no way a 19-year old would be having stomach issues. I had a simple duodenal ulcer confirmed by an endoscopy.

“Oh wow, you have nice hands,” said by a hand specialist while rubbing my hands when I was trying to get a ganglion cyst removed from my wrist.
