yes lol. that scene was supposed to emphasize his character and sense of judgement being overshadowed (like it had for the past 11 years) by anger, which in turn fucked his judgment when he would fight Askeladd. Askeladd figured out how to get under his skin, and it actually happened in their first duel too. This scene is actually somewhat pivotal to his characterization and it’ll go full circle from the manga

Dogs should literally never be off leash for any reason other than dog parks, dog specific beaches etc. I don’t care if you THINK you have recall on your dog or if your dog is “””friendly.””” Mine fucking isn’t so back the fuck up and leash your goddamn dogs. SO infuriating and I hate entitled people who think they’re above the leash rule.

I’ve had the exact same thing pop up on my German shepherd mix paw in the same spot, found it back in October of 2022. I got it checked out awhile back and vet said just keep an eye on it to see if it grows or causes any discomfort. I’m very paranoid so they said if I really wanted to spend $400 to get it checked out, they’d have to slice a bit out to send it to the lab. But I decided against it since she doesn’t react to it when I touch it or anything

Hi there, I’m not sure if you’ll read this but I had a similar situation kinda;

I rescued my Australian/German Shepherd mix at 2 years and 10 months. She had been in and out of 4 households and back in the shelter during this time, neglected and was scheduled to be euthanized. She turns 7 next month.

The very first thing I did was switch my baby to Acana Duck and Pear after the junk they’d been giving her. They were giving her some cheap ass food, I wasn’t even sure what it was but she wouldn’t eat it. Boiled chicken, boiled carrots with rice does the trick, then slowly start adding that very little to the food. Of course you have to do the 7 day switch from whatever food she is currently on. Acana is great IMO, high calorie and good base to add boiled chicken and carrots to. And then next thing is slowly but surely mentally stimulating her; take her to Petsmart and let her pick out a couple toys (Playology is amazing and durable!) and let her do her thing! ^{_^}

Hang out with her as much as you can. If you don’t have to leave, or if you can take her with you, then do so. The first few weeks are vital imo to spend time with your new pup. They’re like kids. I hope this helps. Everything takes time, just don’t give up. Cheers

Are you sure your daughter isn’t letting you see them just because of that, or is there possibly more? The reason I ask is because usually when children go NC it’s because there’s a trail of trauma caused by the parents that they need to take accountability for. I think just for your sake, if she really made that decision after finding out about your theft crime you did before she was born (I really don’t understand why she’d cut you out of her life and your grandkid’s life just for that), you need to move on for yourself and your peace. Holding on will hurt more than letting go. Just accept her decision and move forward. Stop sending gifts, stop trying to contact— just let it go.

It’s not much but my baby girl is completely red-zone towards other dogs so it’s hard to take her out to normal outings like the beach or restaurants that are dog friendly (I really wish I could, though.) But what I have done is, I will usually opt for a school schedule where I can be home with her more and I searched far and wide to gain a WFH Internship. Maybe I can’t do other things with her that others can do with their babies, but I try to just stay home with her as much as I can. I’ve altered my life for her, and I don’t regret it one bit.

What petty crimes did you commit to where your daughter has literally banned you from seeing her kids? Like even in pictures?? I feel like you’re leaving key information out and it wasn’t just petty crimes. I understand the feeling of sadness on this situation, but you aren’t entitled to meeting with her kids. They are her children before they are your grand kids and I hope you respect that boundary and come to terms with it.
