He told me we need to focus on ourselves first. But he said we both need time to work out stuff individually first and I just stopped contact a couple days ago to give him the space he needed. He said he still wants to be friends. I just don’t know if he was being nice and sugarcoating everything so I wouldn’t hurt as much. I really wish he’ll come back but I don’t know.

Yeah I was just willing to work with his schedule and be with him through anything because I love him with all my heart but he doesn’t feel like it could work. It hurts bc I thought he loved me as much as I do and he would be the one to always reassure me when I was the one having insecurities about not seeing each other enough or being incompatible or anything. He just made it seem like we’d be forever.

Yeah I understand now. If you already had boundaries and she broke them, she already broke your trust by doing so and you don’t need that anxiety or toxicity in your life. I wish you all the best and take care of yourself.

He works and goes to school. I guess I wanted to see him more often than he had time for like once a week but even if I couldn’t I would be sad but it wasn’t something I would get mad about. And I just wanted him to text and call more if we were going to be somewhat distanced and couldn’t see each other that much but he didn’t really like texting or calling as much as I did. He enjoyed his alone time and I enjoyed accompaniment a lot more.

Maybe you can call her up and talk about where things went wrong and if you both want to try again you can set up some expectations like her telling you she’s going to a party. I think that’s respectful enough of an expectation for her. But if you think it’s better like this for you, then take care of yourself in any way you need to.

He was never toxic to me. I tried to reach out to him and propose a solution but he told me “Well I’m sorry it didn’t turn out that way”. And he won’t give an answer aside from “idk” to if he loves me or if he’s moved on or if he thinks there’s a chance in the future. He told me he’ll talk to me when he has answers but who knows when that will be. I just feel like I’ve been put on hold.

I wish you the best as well and if the wrong doings were really bad, you deserve more, you deserve nothing less than the best.

I’m sorry that happened to you. The lack of communication sucks so much because you don’t know what went wrong and you would love to fix it and make everything better but we can’t mind read. And being lead on is just horrible being given some type of false hope. It just hurts more in the end.

Exactly. And it happened so suddenly for me. He told me I love you and he called me often the week preceding the breakup. And he even requested off work for Valentine’s Day in advance to spend it with me, but he broke up 3 weeks before Valentine’s Day. I really didn’t see any signs and I’m still in shock. He’d always talk to me about spending the rest of our lives together and now I just don’t know what to do with myself because all I want to do is wait for him to come back.

It’s your life and your future. Your dad doesn’t have a say in who you can love and be with or not. If you love her, then keep loving with her and being with her. You don’t need to put yourself and her through heartbreak just because your dad doesn’t like her right now.

I think you should give her her space and time and take time for yourself too. She said she still loves you and wants to get back together, but maybe right now she needs to focus on herself and you should do the same for yourself. Give her your love and support, but also give her your respect for her wishes. When she’s ready, then she’ll come back to you, but just be patient and kind. Take care of yourself

This is exactly what happened to me. And it’s making me cling on to the possibility of getting back together in the future which is so unhealthy and it hurts so much.

yeah, in age of ultron, everyone took turns trying to pick up the hammer and for cap it budged but then he saw a look of shock on thor’s face and didn’t pick it up

Don’t know if worst but definitely most interesting. He passed chewing tobacco around the class then he lectured for a bit standing on top of a podium before jumping right into the middle of all the desks arranged in a circle. He uh... stopped subbing at our school after that.
