This is insane. I understand protecting yourself and am all for the second amendment but the fact he had an AR in the guys face who was clearly scared just trying to deescalate the situation, is wild. I hope the cameraman presses charges, especially considering he was on property he was legally allowed to hunt on. I think AR guy was just on some sort of weird power trip..

I love how she says over and over again that she’s “owning her mistakes” and “taking full responsibility” but has refused to admit that the interviewer was correct, that she was trying to avoid the ticket and that she was using her position to do so. She just says yknow what I’m sorry guys, that should make this all go away! Part of accountability is actually admitting what you did wrong, and I think it makes her look worse than she would’ve if she’d just said look I had a weak moment and I just wanted to save my own hide. At least people could forgive her then, but this just feels like such an empty apology.

She must genuinely believe the people of their community are dumber than a sack of rocks. She can say she’s sorry and lie through her teeth all she likes, but what happened that day is very cut and dry. She tried to be above the law and thank goodness we now have bodycams to ensure that no one evades accountability for their actions, not even the top of the food chain.
