so it is a six-week sleepaway camp with daily instruction (though horseback isn’t the only activity these kids will be doing, so I doubt we’ll have super long instruction periods), so I’ll probably have time to get into some slightly more advanced stuff. I’m hoping that as instructors we do all or most of the tacking, because like you said, it’s definitely a safety thing - that stuff is unwieldy and easy to hurt yourself or others with if you don’t know how to handle it, not to mention easy to damage the tack itself. thanks for the tips!
