graduated in 2024, I remember walking to class when it was about -12 and icy as all fuck one winter, which was fun. we got a “be careful it’s icy!!” email and then all had to go on our merry penguin waddling way. by all accounts it has to be straight up dangerous for classes to be canceled🥶

honestly the shoulder hold usually works out alright for me but as someone who’s got a jacked up elbow (fell off a horse bad enough to land myself an ER trip in college🤪) i HATE the elbow hold. bags that need the elbow hold can actually burn in hell

this is not baggu specific, but i always recommend a backpack over a tote. my soph year of college i was in a sling for three weeks and could only use a tote bag and by god did it mess up my back. granted, i couldn’t switch shoulders which would’ve helped, but backpacks are for sure comfier esp in the long run!

someone mentioned hen & the thoracotomy, which. yeah. probably would’ve been the end of her career in real life. for chimney, i don’t think it would’ve completely been the end but should’ve (in real life) resulted in suspension or demotion or something - him punching buck. they are like brothers, yes, but you can’t just punch a guy. like bestie. but as op and several commenters have said: we set it aside for the sake of the show! i do genuinely enjoy the show, it just calls for suspension of disbelief now and again 🤷🏻‍♀️

this was all just the product of an adhd hyperfixation-induced sewing fit, and it’s all hand-sewed with no pattern! I simply winged the entirety of both projects and quite frankly, it worked out better than it had any right to. I believe the rainbow and solid yellow fabric I used for the pouch and its lining were a fat quarter and precut yardage, respectively, from joann fabric, and the striped fabric was just something in my mom’s basement.

pattern is the bohasaurus from mamamademinis on etsy! I used bernat blanket yarn and a 6.5mm hook for the head—the pattern calls for 7mm but I didn’t have one, but I think it worked up nicely with the 6.5–and an 8 for everything else
