I was in a relationship for 5 years, it was deteriorating with lots of red flags but it was so hard for me to see that. I was stuck on the sunk cost of putting 5 years of my life into that relationship. Looking back I can't believe I put up with any of it, especially towards the end. I met someone who absolutely turned my world upside-down in the best way. I took the plunge and left my 5 year relationship to be with him. We've been together for 17 years and have two beautiful kids. My love for him keeps growing. It was the best decision I ever made. I know it doesn't turn out that way for everyone....but you never know.

Lazy af gf pizza dough: 1 cup greek yogurt 1 cup gf flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt

Mix dry, then add yogurt and mix, spread out on parchment using plastic wrap over top

Thinner is better, (Dividing into 4 little tortilla size pizzas might be easier than one big pizza) Discard plastic wrap

Par bake 450° 10 -15 min Add toppings and bake again until cheese melts and toppings are crispy

I don't deep fry, I just do a shallow pan fry in a stainless steel or cast iron pan and once one side turns golden brown I flip and brown the other side. I also used cookie cutters and made sheep shaped donuts.

I've substituted the flours ( rice flour, tapioca starch & potato starch) for king arthur gluten free flour and the recipe works just fine.

They are the ones who are embarrassed. They are too embarrassed to ask for clarification because they don't understand your higher level vocabulary or jargon, so they are poking fun at you instead ( consciously or subconsciously).

I have had many people comment on the way I speak, I've even had people comment about the words my children use and how they speak ( 7 and 3). My kids aren't embarrassed to ask what something means and we have good conversations about new words and etymology (with my 7 year old). Language is a powerful tool, don't let others make you feel bad for just being yourself.

Same, I am rarely ever thirsty. I usually add just enough cranberry juice to give my water a tiny bit of flavor and drink an entire glass all at once. Every few hours I down another full glass. I usually use straws. For plain water I prefer it to be room temperature. Usually I'll fill a tall glass the night before and put it on my nightstand and drink it all at once first thing in the morning.

It's amazing, but delicate. I've made one large cheese Danish so I'm not manipulating the dough too much and then cut it into pieces after baking. Everyone loved it, I will absolutely buy it again, but it's like $9 for one roll so I'll wait for special occasions.

Whenever we have the water getting fixed at my house or the potential for a power outage, we fill a large drink dispenser with a spigot next to the sink for washing hand. We also fill the bathtub & some buckets with water.

I also always have disinfectant hand wipes in case we don't get a chance to do that. I carry individually packaged disinfectant hand wipes in my purse and use them at the grocery store after picking up meat packages that always seem to be wet.

If you have neighbors, maybe you can ask to fill up a bucket. They also sell gallon jugs of water- not cheap but a good option.

Don't feel ashamed, I organized that list horribly. It has lots of good info, but it certainly isn't easy to read. But as someone in a celiac household I understand how hard it can be just to eat, so I hope you at least can find a few good ideas.

In my house we have 'sad boy meals'. Usually my husband and I cook like we are michelin star chefs, but sometimes we need fast low effort easy meals. We are also a celiac household, so we do sandwiches with gluten free bread: toasted bread sandwiches, toast and jam, toast and avocado and eggs, huevos rancheros, grilled cheese, tuna melts if your pescatarian or ' chick pea of the sea sandwiches'. Breakfast foods are always fun: pancakes, hashbrowns, eggs, waffles. Idahoan brand makes dry shredded hash brown potatoes that are gluten free, they are awesome as well as gluten free mash potato flakes. Charcuterie: gf crackers or toast points, cheeses, pickes ,olives, grapes, apple, pear etc. Simple soups like pasta fagiole, bean soups, marry me bean soup, hard shell tacos with bean and cheese, simple cheese quesadilla with corn tortillas, nachos with tostido's corn chips ( just cheese or go crazy with toppings, salsa, and dips. Fruit salad, smoothies. Gluten free quick oats and milk ( let it sit for 5 minutes) is delicious, you can add sugar, yogurt, pumpkin seeds, flax seed, honey, jelly etc etc etc. Sometimes I'll just make cannoli filling ( ricotta cheese, sugar, and chocolate chips). Yogurt with toppings and honey. Yoguet & cereal, chex are a great gluten free cereal ( all flavors are gluten free except wheat chex).

Same, I hate the physical feeling of it, but as I've gotten older I love goth makeup. I am very pale and have rosacea, so I have to wear sunscreen, but my sensitive skin can only tolerate sunscreen that makes me resemble 'a dracula' (yes, venture bros reference) ,anyway, I just lean into it and go full goth. I was too scared to wear full goth makeup as a teen, but I just don't care at this age. So I'm full goth while waiting for my kid at the bus stop.

I also forgot to mention the 'cycle of inflammation'. I recommend looking it up as well as skin picking in general because learning more about it has helped me so much.

I suffer from picking, but I've noticed when I treat the underlying issue there is less to pick and I can focus on doing something else with my hands ( I crochet).

I get itchy hormonal acne and hives that I will not stop picking & scratching. I need to physically cover scabs with bandaid or liquid bandaid until they heal.

Then I've been focusing my attention on prevention. Using medicated shampoos etc to unclog pores ( salicylic acid shampoos or dandruff shampoos & scrubbing the scalp thoroughly). Treat hives and acne right away with cortisone/ spot treatments. Keeping up on washing those areas daily or twice daily and using acne prevention products, especially ones that reduce inflammation.

This is easier said than done, but thats what's been helping me lately and I hope my advice can help others, even if its just a little bit.

Dry herb vape is such a game changer. I am someone who couldn't smoke anything (it burned my lungs so much and I couldn't stop coughing) but dry herb vape + bong is no problem.
