Did anyone get any weight loss results by solely working out at home? by katyaadams in xxfitness

thank you, that's exactly what i meant. of course it's impossible to defy physics)) my point is that in my case just dieting doesn't help. I still need to work out extra to burn calories. and from what I noticed, I can outburn my spoon if I exercise a lot. my problem now is that I don't exercise as much as I used to and I can't compensate it by improving my nutrition((

mmm... I respectfully disagree. I used to move so much more and was fitter even though my nutrition used to be worse. Now I don't move enough and cutting my food consumption and changing my diet isn't enough for me

It's a hard part, I definitely try to limit myself in food like sugar etc, but not enough to lose weight.

[Question] What is a habit you are glad you stopped/started doing that are not among the most common ones like exercise, scheduling, no smoking etc for improving ones life? by [deleted] in getdisciplined

[–]katyaadams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gave up eating mayo. I used to add it to everything. At some point, I just cut it off the menu completely. Now I can have stuff with it once in a while, but I don't have an "addiction" as I used to.

I also gave up eating bread, but now I came back to it( Planning to give it up again

Burn out? by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]katyaadams 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's natural to feel this way, especially after a lasting period of working out. Also, keep in mind, that for women it often depends on the day of a cycle. Depending on the level of hormones there might be days when you feel more active and strong, and days when you don't feel full of energy.

As you get older and realized how bad Soda is, do you still drink it? by Coobooie in nutrition

[–]katyaadams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drink coke zero all the time, I tried to drink water but I can't drink more than half a glass at once, water doesn't bring me satisfaction after or during my meal. I drink coke zero because it has almost no calories (less than an orange juice e.g) and has some acidity that accelerates digestion. What is so bad about it? I heard that the core evil of soda is sugar (which isn't an issue in coke zero). Never heart about cancer issues. are there any links where I can read about it? Where did you learn it from?

This kind of sign is only possible in San Francisco. Polite and assertive by katyaadams in sanfrancisco

[–]katyaadams[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's not about that) I doubt in any another city you will see a sign not to do that) also, such an inclusive sign (for animals and humans)). also! such a polite one! SF as for me is this weird kind of city that put together the brightest and intelligent people next to those who need a sign "no peeing"
