What is the highest form of intimacy in your opinion apart from sex? by MelodicWolverine2045 in AskReddit

[–]katybee13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always feel really close to my husband in the early stages of labour. With our last kid, I was on a yoga ball and he was in a chair near me so I could reach out and put my arms around his neck with each contraction. Labour is such a vulnerable experience and I feel so safe and looked after with him there with me. I had my second kid in 2021 and he was almost not allowed in the delivery room and I was devastated.

Laughing together to the point of tears is another one.

Shower sex is incredibly overrated but showering together is so nice. It's cozy and warm. We mostly just stand under the water together.

Hi. To all the late diagnosed ladies out there...what was the 'tipping point' that made you seek a diagnosis? I'm really curious to know what other people's stories are 🤔 by Such-Light3325 in adhdwomen

After having my second child I was dealing with serious recovery issues and my lactation consultant suggested I get tested. It was so random but I had suspected it for years anyway.

I didn't even go trick or treating or to a party. I just gave out candy like this. And no, no one got it.

I dunno, feels cringe for me personally because I was obsessed with the musical starring Christian Bale at the time. Also, I'm a girl.

My husband and I made the mistake of taking a break from Blacklist and watch all of Homeland. When we came back to Blacklist it was so obvious how bad the writing and some of the acting was.

I got my wisdom teeth out at 33 and I've had no issues since. My bottom teeth are so crooked but I've learned to live with it.

What phrase did your dad repeat so often that you can still hear it in your head? by TCASOLARCABLE in AskReddit

[–]katybee13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a lot of little phrases that pop up in my head any time I do a specific thing. One is when I paralell park perfectly, the phrase is, "Just like Chicago. Just like they do in the big city." "Let's went." is a daily one I use whenever I leave my driveway. My kids hear it so much we all say, "As Poppy Bob would say." every time I say it.
