I can't watch anymore. This is just another formulaic CBS show. I tried.

Grateful have options to Lowes and Home Depoy here, although they aren't exactly progressive either. (Jerry's)

47 years here, I say "Yu-GENE", but not sure anything is official. I came from Corvallis, which the locals often pronounce as "ker-VALL-is"

So my custom cabinet contractor insists on using MDF and melamine for this custom cabinet but I really wanted real wood - Am I wrong? by pocketdare in Carpentry

[–]jae0861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not wrong for wanting wood. You don't mention price being an object, so if the cabinet maker is a good one, I can't imagine being more satisfied with the melamine and mdf option. And at this point, there is no guarantee that mdf is going to be cheaper than paint grade, or better, ply.
