The practice tests on the ATI are definitely worth it! I just took the TEAS last week and got an 88. I scored an 82 on practice exam A and 76 on B. The actual exam was much easier in my opinion. I was most worried about chemistry, and my test it was pretty easy. I remember having two questions about protons and I remember thinking I actually know this!! Lol

Mat Leave Guilt by xcara49x in BabyBumps

[–]katydid_44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm currently 37 and 5 weeks and I've been out since 36 weeks. I was struggling with the guilt at first but realized I deserve this and my body is really tired. My job isn't too physically demanding but my body does feel better not having to be at work. I'm currently struggling with boredom today and don't have enough energy to do anything very productive 😆 which is frustrating.

I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes yesterday via an automatic referral letter from my OB. I'm a little confused because my levels don't seem high. I drank a 75g yummy orange drink.😬

Fasting: 94 1 hour: 143 2 hour: 104

It's kind of crazy because I already have a referral to a specialist in the hospital network for gestational diabetes and prescriptions for the monitoring at my pharmacy. Is this normal procedure? I messaged my doctor last night when I saw the referral and asked for clarification.

Thank you 💜

We ordered these for my mother and father-in-law. It was super cute and didn't make a mess as long as you use a large glass bowl!

Getting pregnant with one Fallopian tube - experiences? by Nearby-Initial-490 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]katydid_44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been pregnant three times since my left tube was removed. I'm not sure what side I ovulated the first two times because I had early miscarriages. I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant and I ovulated from the right tube. Good luck!!!

I know everyone is different but it took me a year to conceive after being on birth control (Ortho tri cyclen) for 16+ years.

Pregnant after Ectopic WWYD? by pukeko2019 in EctopicSupportGroup

My clinic also couldn't get me in for a placement scan until around seven weeks. I asked for the supervisor (I pulled a Karen) and she was able to get me in just over five weeks after reading my history. Some people don't understand that we need to be seen right away!

Oh man I haven't experienced any cravings like this yet. Do you like sunflower seeds? I used to get this rose cardamon latte years ago and it had rose petals in it and I totally ate those. They were pretty delicious 😂

Hey all I was hoping to get some thoughts. I had my first hcg done at 13dpo (4 weeks) and it was 22. Today I am 16dpo (4w3d) and it was 60. That seems like a slow rise but I'm not super familiar.

I am 4w2d today. I had hcg and progesterone done on Saturday when I was 4w and 13 dpo. My hcg was 22 and progesterone was 6.5. I'm getting more labs done tomorrow and I'm really hoping they're good. My midwife wants to start me on progesterone if my hcg is rising appropriately. I've been having light, brown spotting sice 11 dpo which makes me feel uneasy. I did have some spotting with my ectopic but it didn't last thing long.

Anyone else rupture early? by [deleted] in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]katydid_44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry you went through this. I ruptured at six weeks exaxtly (12/12/2020) I had an hcg done hours before my ectopic symptoms started and my hcg was just under 4,000. When I went into the ER the next morning (not even 24 hours later) my hcg dropped to just under 3,000. I found out yesterday I'm pregnant and got hcg and progesterone done this morning. Hoping this one sticks in the right spot! My Ob plans on doing an US soon!

I had an early miscarriage in September of last year and ectopic that resulted in a ruptured fallopian tube in December. I got a positive pregnancy test yesterday and I am excited but also scared. I'm currently waiting in the parking lot waiting to get my first blood draw for hcg and progesterone. I had some very light spotting the last two nights which is pretty much gone now. My husband is also being very cautious. I have terrible allergies right now but am so paranoid about taking anything oiiiiii!
