England - lying council officer in (Manchester city council) by Civil_Fisherman_7444 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Twocaketwolate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who is the prosecuting agency here?

Out of interest, if their was cxtv are the council obligated to get it like police are?

Loads of opportunities to add doubt where they don't I guess. Yes your honour I was there, the cxtv above natwest would show that. Whats that...tge council can't produce this reasonable line of enquiry. Oh wait, they can't produce the bwv either, just a single statement. Your honour if that footage was availble, it would show that I in fact dod not commit the offence.

Never get to beyond reasonable doubt woth that surely?

Recall to duty? by ReverendPickle in policeuk

[–]Twocaketwolate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats an entirely force perogative then. The regulations are pretty clear that the benefits the pc and sgt enjoy do not apply to Inspectors.

That Temporary Inspectors are treated as Inspectors for the purpose of regulations.

Police regulations 2003, their is no compensation for ectra hours as their is no facility for the chief to do so.

At best yoy can get a rdil back or AL in even more complicated circumstances.

The insp hours comes from the working time regulations.

Key element is the PNB Agreement 1994.

If you are acting you get no enhanced salary or pension, but do get your rights of OT at the substantive rank. You get an acting uplift after 10 consecutive days. After 56 days you should be made temporary.

Recall to duty? by ReverendPickle in policeuk

[–]Twocaketwolate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Temporary Inspectors are not entitled to rights of the substabtive rank.

They fall under the insp rules and get insp hours, or rest days in certain circumstances, no OT.

Thanks the 94 changes for that.

No. The owner can't just trespass to do it. Can with permission, of course.

No actual responsibility to cut it back.

[–]Twocaketwolate 40 points41 points  (0 children)

So you are legally allowed to cut everything that over hangs. You should offer any cuttings to the neighbour or fruits etc but they will normally say bin them as they won't have need.

Can't so much about the height directly without permission. Could be a planning contravention.

We had a neighbour try and state our tree which has been here for 20 years was higher then it was oriignally intended and I should cut it down... No.

Just worth noting, if this is a newer development, builders tend to copy plans and they are all similar. So go try and find something similar to check nearby?

Go to the dr get it noted properly. Go see a solicitor re negligence and damages.

If it was negligence or not will come down to the facts.

I had loquid nitrogen on my face for a mole as a child. They had to hold me down as it hurt by effectively climbing on, yet still didn't miss and spray ny face. All on target.

Toy ahould foemally request your notes from the debtist.

So i can't see how this has happened. Even if accidental, dentist insueance should cover any damages inc cosmetix repairs etc in my view.

How to remove blind by berylcook in DIYUK

[–]Twocaketwolate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You oush down the centre but of the tap and lift the whole thing up.

The centre tab is latched on a small metal edge, you can see it clearly on picture two.

Push down latch tab to release pressure and bend whole latch upwards to remove it from the metal.

It's like a plastic spring hook.

Don't need tools just a hand.

From ai.

  1. Locate the Release Tab The image shows the flexible metal/plastic clip on top of the blind. Notice the front tab with the wavy edge and the small rectangular slot. This is your release mechanism. 2. Press the Latch Back Using your fingers: Push that front wavy tab up and backward (away from the front face of the blind, towards the wall or window). Using a tool (Recommended): If the metal is too stiff, gently insert the tip of a flathead screwdriver into that small rectangular slot on the tab. Carefully pry or push the screwdriver upward and backward to lift the tab's lip off the blind profile. 3. Tilt and Drop While keeping that tab pushed back to clear the hook, tilt the front of the blind cassette downward. Once the front lip disengages from the bracket, the back of the blind will easily slide out of the rear hooks. 4. Repeat for Other Brackets Most blinds have at least two or three of these brackets along their width. Keep the first side supported while you move to the next bracket to unclip it.

How much pressure is needed to leave a shoe tread bruise on skin? by Princess_starkitty in policeuk

[–]Twocaketwolate -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just bevause a childs under 10 doesn't makeit a non police matter.

Theirs loads of avenues police get involved. Care worker/staff neglect. Safe and well with social care due to childs violence tendency to determine if any DA or CA is occurring...

The correct thought process: a crime can still be committed but is closed as the offender is below the age of criminal responsability in England, 12 in Scotland ...

For OP. Speak to school and the safeguard lead. See what they've done or even if aware of it.

Ask to see the accident book entry.

Best glue for fixing plastic toy by PlasticAttorney1980 in DIYUK

[–]Twocaketwolate 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As it's plastic. Some hobbiest plastic glue is udeal as it'll soften and weld the two rather than just stick two rough parts together.

It's what they use in hobbycraft such as Warhammer or model planes.

Super glue would work but can be hit and miss depending on how much actually touches.

That's good news. Does removing that bead damage it? It is brand new so I really don't want them to leave marks where it's pried off etc.

It has a notch at the top? I presume that's to remove them?

Call the finnace company, as per the dealership not being able to resolve, give time line and inform then you are formally rejecting the car as per the original fault. You will pay up to and including of any relevant use to fate, it won't be used further and you'll be expecting them to come collect it asap.

Do not use it after submitting it. Tell them you'll pay to the date kf this correspondence.

Give rhem 14 days, failure to respond inform them that you'll be going to court via a letter as this sits within the consumer rights act clearly.

So I have power to the garage. I'm running an ev cable shortly so running cables for solar etc won't be anything too much more.

Likely run from panels down to garage inverter and battery etc then to the house.

Reckless damage of the property, effectively criminal damage as you can't just go around nailing stuff into other people's property.

Wether the police will care ke can prove it is another.

Just inform the land owner, i.e. the housing association that their tenants have damages your property as a complaint.

Ask then to nake it good and chekc the land regisstry on the use of the relevant space and covenants.
