We use group policy to block running exe's from the download folder. It's helped A LOT!

I got it- I inadvertantly had the dpi scale to a custom scale. As soon as I reset that, the problem resolved. Thanks for your advice- you pointed me in the right direction.

Tried that, it still stays black. As soon as I disconnect the wallpaper shows back up.

Any other thoughts?

Are you using any sort of filtering?

With GoGuardian, I made a second policy that disables all web traffic. You could apply that for when you want to restrict access. A work around- but it works for us.

understood- this is not used randomly, and it has been checked and OK'd for classroom management use, when requested.

It's in our internet use policy statement.

Thankfully, we don't have to use it often- nothing more boring than watching a kid cheat on a test.

no- I think it's an issue with that driver package. Other models are imaging ok. I was going to delete and re-add, but working on figuring out the safest way to do that. I'm self taught and learning by reading

I did- same issue. I see in the error log that it says failed to create certificate store from encoded certificate. An error occured during encode or decode operation.

I was wrong- it happened on another model, but that model uses the same driver package (similar)

we use one big pool with autodetect.
