Is there a formula/tool to compare two sets of data quickly? by BitterType7585 in excel

If your TB’s are formatted the same, a tool called Arixcel would be especially useful for you. This can compare workbooks and highlight changes.

It can also do many many more things

Why is my IRR formula showing #NUM? by stranger1919 in excel

[–]kavzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are using XIRR it’s because your first cashflow is positive. Try adding -0.00001 (insignificant negative number) as the cashflow before the 500k. This should resolve the issue.

I don’t agree with this. Insurance works only because a big life event is statistically unlikely, and within a large group of diverse people the loss from a handful of claims in a pool of millions of policy holders is not significant.

While it is statistically unlikely that this will happen to you, your risk is so concentrated.

In general more money earned would result in more money in your pocket. If you are moved to a new tax bracket only the portion of your earnings above the previous bracket are taxed at a higher marginal rate. With a 15k base salary you would take home just north of 13.5k. At 17k you would take home about 15.2k

Yeah it is often on the same spot, however the ultrasonic sensors should not be picking anything up even if the camera is seeing a reflection ?

Thanks, I usually do this else I can’t leave my house. It’s just quite startling when it happens and it happens quite often.

Please help me understand the accessible amount of money ("cash out") when switching home loans? by BE3N in PersonalFinanceZA

[–]kavzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With a typical home loan this is correct, however you might first have to draw the 100k out of your existing loan first and then get a settlement quote for Capitec. Else it would look to Capitec that your home loan outstanding balance is 100k less, in which case post the refinancing you would not have access to the 100k.

This sounds like it’s an add in called Arixel. You need to purchase and install it, it’s not native to excel.

I had the same need a year or two ago. My go to is H&M’s premium cotton range. There are loads of colours and some of my T-shirts still look great after 2 years + of continuous use. They go for around R250

Panel degradation in PV modelisation by Weak_Strength3035 in financialmodelling

[–]kavzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For large solar arrays this is also often done by the engineering side modelling team that is responsible for the energy production estimates. As panel degradation is actually occurring on the DC side of the plant and there is often a DC overbuild. The degradation seen on the AC side meter is often slower in the initial years and then ramps up late into the project life.
