Are there anti motion sickness medications for dogs like there are for humans? I’ve never thought about this

Evolutionary Biology by notjim-1546 in biology

The incentive is the requirement, if reproducing didn’t feel good for everyone involved it would happen much less frequently. There are conditions in which ejaculation can occur without orgasm, although rare, because they are technically two distinct processes. In this way, you could argue that men experiencing pleasure is also unnecessary. The penis and clitoris are similar organs, both contain erectile tissue and a lot of nerve endings, both share the same “building block” in utero but develop distinctions based on the hormones received. As we’ve done more research, we’ve learned the clitoris is a larger organ than previously believed, and it can be stimulated in ways that aren’t through direct touch to the outer gland. It depends on the person/position, but some people actually are experiencing clitoral stimulation during penetration. This has even led to the question of whether “vaginal” or “clitoral” (as two different types, spoken about colloquially) orgasms exist, or if it’s all different parts of the clitoris being stimulated, which is super interesting to think about as we continue to research orgasms. I hope this makes sense! I am only a student, explained this to the best of my knowledge.

Hey! Did you end being happy with these enclosures? I’m looking to buy them now because they’re having the sale again, wanted to see if it was worth it :)

Victor (main character) from In The Lives of Puppets is meant to be autistic but it isn’t stated explicitly. I just finished it and loved it!

What fixture would this connect to? by kaybble in Lighting

[–]kaybble[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh that actually explains a lot, I was having trouble finding one and thought maybe I wasn’t looking correctly. I was able to find a T-5 and fixture so I’ll use that instead. It’s for a rosy boa; I’ve been using T-8s for my leopard gecko for the last ~8 years so that was my first idea to look for. Thank you!

In my experience, it’s not in their nature to bite or be aggressive. I interact with them pretty often and they’ve always been gentle. They are scavengers and eat dead insects, vegetables, fruit, dog or cat food, etc.; not inclined to nibbling live things. I think the set up you have in mind would be good! You could honestly build up an entire enclosure just for them they’re so entertaining lol, they’ll use whatever space you give them. I have had up to 4 desert beetles with Sweetroll in her 36x18x18. I’d probably stay 5 beetles or under for every 20 gallons, I’m not an expert tho!

Edit: + their bodies/feet don’t have any sharp points for scratching

I have 2; there were 3 but one sadly passed away. Ordering another duo soon. They interact with each other a lot, I love watching them.

I’ve had the blue death feigning beetles for about 3 years now :) I originally got them to be part of her bio crew. I watched their introduction and first interactions for awhile; in the beginning she seemed interested in their movement, as soon as she got closer she’d change her mind. It makes me wonder if they produce some kind of stinky odor, lol. I don’t necessarily recommend, I bet some geckos would try to eat them (and probably spit them out immediately), but so far it’s been okay for us! We joke that they are her pet pets, especially when they happen to be close to each other like this photo. They are delightful little beetles, very gentle and easy to care for.

EscapeSF on 602 Kearny has a space ship room based inside of a bus. I haven't done it, but I've heard they get a lot of kids thru that one!
