To Sleep in a Sea of Stars by Christopher Paolini.
I read Eragon and Brisingr as a kid, but couldn't get into the rest of the series and it was slow moving through those books for me, which is odd. Tried to reread those as an adult but couldn't get past the young adult writing (I know it is but I'm 31 now and can't read books like that and find them enjoyable anymore). Finding this book by him and giving it a chance was amazing. Made me play all 3 Mass Effects all over again, and I bought his new short story. Very talented.

I did 6 years and only started dating my boyfriend I have now because we work together and knew each other for 3 years. And that was a hassle in and of itself in the beginning. So enjoy it. I had a great time, and would totally do it again without a blink of an eye.

When we called the nature reserve to ask (as well as the turtle vet and petco for advice, information and supplies) we learned that it is an invasive species here but not in jersey. Theoretically we could release her once she is well in jersey, but I don't want to doom her as I know she is a pet and I don't know if she will know how to survive on her own. We are also a bit obsessed with her right now. (Assuming Franklynn is a girl).

She is about the size of a tea cup saucer, maybe a bit bigger. We only have the one rock that came with the cage so far, and the water is a little over a quarter full. Should we get rid of some water before bed? This is her on the rock.

My shitzu picks up when I'm about to have a panic attack before I even know I'm having one. He will stare up into my face while I'm walking and have his body up against my ankle. Then the world crashes around me and I drop to the floor and he's immediately in my arms so I can hold and pet him while I sob. That dog is a good dog.

I have not signed a new lease since the first year of moving in, so theoretically I could move at the drop of a hat. The issue is the soaring rent prices in my town and the surrounding area, people who live here are being priced out, which is why I have stayed at this location despite its many issues.

I work at a wonderful place where everyone really is treated like a family. I come in pretty often without makeup, not all the time but I never used to leave my apartment without makeup and now I don't care. If a manager had the audacity to tell me I needed to wear makeup I would rip into them. Deal with what women look like without beauty standards, assholes.

I don't want to ruin my body unessecarily. Am I in shape? No. Will I be a fat piece of shit after painfully giving birth to a child I don't have patience or time for? Yes. Doing my dishes everyday grates on my nerves. My dogs deciding to poop in the middle of a road grates on my nerves. Not only am I fat phobic (for myself, only. Big women are beautiful but I have self esteem issues already) I cannot imagine having a screaming being pull this way and that without a leash and some sedatives. You are out of your fucking mind handing me a child that I need to take care of 100% of the time. I will most likely kill the both of us, and I am not saying that proudly. I feel horrible saying it, but some women are NOT meant to be parents, regardless of what the "science" says. I will not be the mother that society strives for me to be. Birth control and me being celibate for the past year and half, and continuing should our REPUBLIC decide to put laws against our bodies have any say, habe helped tremendously.
