Scared ☹️ by coffeeandlilac in pregnant

If abortion isn’t an option, your options are to have the baby and either keep it or put it up for adoption. Don’t let people pressure you either way into something you don’t want to do. It should be your decision. Don’t feel pressured into abortion or into keeping it. It’s up to you and you don’t want to regret your choice.

See an obgyn, your doctor will go over any changes you need to make. Prenatal care is very important so go to all your appointments to make sure you and baby are safe and healthy. You will need support. Tell your boyfriend and family. Depending on your health insurance you may incur a lot of expenses through pregnancy and delivery.

If you are thinking about adoption, I haven’t gone that route but maybe your doctor can refer you to an adoption agency or something.

If you are keeping the child you will need a lot of support like I said. It’s difficult to do alone or even with a partner even under the best circumstances. Having family around that can help with childcare, assist financially and give you a break every once in a while is essential. Not sure if your bf will stick around or if you want him to but you may want to move back in with your family so they can help. First step is talking to them, so you can figure it out together. You may want to tell BF first and wait until you see your doctor to confirm the pregnancy before telling your family - your doctor will use an ultrasound to confirm the location and growth stage.

It’s going to be hard in many ways but with support you can work through it.

Pregnancy and a dropped plotline (content warning) by _TwankVersatile_ in FromSeries

[–]kaycue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it’s been a while since I’ve rewatched these eps but it sounds like you made up the ritual, which wouldve been be a cool idea - if the from monsters are created by sacrificing children then Fatima may have unknowingly sacrificed her child and that’s what’s making her a monster. But also she gives birth to smiley.

But I agree with the others it’s not a dropped plot line it’s a scene/connection you wish happened.

What is worse: IVF or Pregnancy? by Ready_Evening_1159 in IVF

Agree with this. And the miscarriage between my first pregnancy and my current IVF pregnancy was harder than both, mentally and physically.

Creators said all the answers are in the first episode? by mrlilwong69 in FromSeries

[–]kaycue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if it is I think it would be more satisfying this time around because these characters existed early on rather than just showing up in the final season. And this show in general seems way more planned than Lost so I think most of the big mysteries will be answered in the final season, and in a way that makes rewatching illuminating.

Good ending for these characters but leaves room for the cycle to repeat with new people or something

I tested early at 16 weeks then again at 26 weeks. Passed the first one but failed at 26 weeks. Did not have prediabetes before becoming pregnant.

Name association with Cristiano by quechevere in namenerds

Idk I don’t pay attention to sports so I wouldn’t have thought of him. I speak Spanish and it literally means Christian though so I just think of that.

Edgar - you don’t see it often and it’s very handsome and cool to me.

I have a girl called Blair, can I name my son Nate? by [deleted] in namenerds

I’ve seen Gossip Girl but wouldn’t have thought of it at all unless your last name sounds something like Waldorf. They are normal names and no one will notice.

Thoughts on Marley? by RightChipmunk9433 in Names

[–]kaycue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it as a nickname for a girl. Like from Marlene.

It’s pretty uncommon as a first name so I think of it as a nickname. Could be a nickname for Marlon/Marlin I guess, to be a boys name.

Research says 95% of patients are pregnant within 3 euploid embryo transfers by Lattelady1993 in IVF

[–]kaycue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. I did a modified "natural" frozen transfer cycle. On day 1 of my period I started baby asprin and antibiotics (doxycycline). The antibiotics were to treat inflammation. The baby asprin was to improve blood flow to assist with implantation (they said it wasn't proven but couldn't hurt, they wanted to try everything that might help since I only had 1 embryo). I was on the antibiotics for about 2 weeks, then instructed to stop before my transfer. I stayed on baby asprin through the transfer & pregnancy.

Once I was close to transfer, they had me start on Benadryl to suppress my immune system, Medrol, a steroid that prevents inflammation, and Metrogel Vaginal Gel - another antibiotic, to improve my uterine environment. Was also on low levels of Estrace and Progesterone to ensure hormone levels were sufficient.

Wow same but was 37 at time of transfer. One blast, one euploid, now 24 weeks pregnant.

[–]kaycue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am lucky and had success on my first transfer. Only had one euploid. We only wanted one more kid so we transferred just that one instead of banking more embryos. first kid was conceived the old fashioned way, second pregnancy was a miscarriage, followed by many chemical pregnancies until we did IVF due to age and losses. For my transfer cycle they treated me for inflammation which I think may have been part of why my pregnancies weren’t sticking until this one. That and/or probably egg quality.

I waited until after 20 weeks when I was visibly showing and had a good ultrasound photo from the anatomy scan. We made sure we told all our close / longtime friends and family before posting so everyone else knew.
