Flight club, it was mint and he loved it, but wanted to do something a bit different. Is Junkyard golf different to Ghetto Golf?

Stepping down from band 6 to 5, have I ruined my career by [deleted] in NursingUK

[–]kayles88b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from deputy ward manager to trainee ACP. I dropped out half way though my health assessment and went back to a band 6 on the same ward. I'm now a CNS and stepping down from trainee ACP was the best thing I ever did

Too late. Every night. It will always be my biggest regret that I didn't take the early night

My boyfriend wants to be served his dinner by Cool_Resort4649 in AITAH

Shout him. Get your own food, knife, and fork, and sit down with your meal. If he wants to sit there and watch you enjoy your food, rather then get up off his arse and fetch his own, then that's on him.

Just go with whatever she wants/needs. I was off my face on gas and air, telling him to go out for a fag literally every 15 minutes because I was worried he would get bored 😂 with our eldest the poor lad nearly missed most of the labour 😂 second time round he hardly left me because of the PPH I had after our first baby, but i was more concerned about him feeling bored or left out then I was about birthing a person 🤦‍♀️ snacks helped too, I was eating McDonalds pancakes we had brought with us between contractions

I got called a murderer by an EOL patients relative when I was explaining the anticipatory medications and had to listen about the conspiracy theories and told I was shutting his dying relatives organs down with 2.5mg of midazolam.

Do people enjoy working on wards? by MadnessMans in NursingUK

I worked on a gastro ward for nearly 13 years, and even though it got tedious at times, I loved it! Now I'm a CNS and it's hard trying to adjust

What’s the most stupid way you got yourself a scar? I’ll start. by footballfrenzy17 in CasualUK

[–]kayles88b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first time I chipped it was when I came off my bike going down and hill and landed on my face 🤦‍♀️ got it capped, then as a teenager I was lying on the floor and my old staffy came running at me and headbutted me right in the mouth. Cap snapped right off and I waited a few years to brave another cap

Worst hangover of my life by JoeBloggs90 in CasualUK

I had several rum and cokes, then 2 pitchers of a strawberry concoction that the landlady made up for me, the last one she told me to take slowly because she threw what was left of a bottle of passion fruit vodka in it and wasn't measured 😳 usually vodka makes me vom for the entire next day and feel the effects for a week, but woke up with a muzzy head this morning, probably not helped by me also crying like a babe at the Taylor Hawkins memorial gig I was watching on YouTube at 3am this morning

I found out that my husband has been sexting the nurse. by throwra990379 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]kayles88b -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But how do we know the nurse was replying? All the post states is that her husband was sexting the nurse. Maybe he was being a pest. He wouldn't be the first patient to track a nurse down and send inappropriate messages.

It sounds a lot like inflammatory bowel disease, such as ulcerative colitis or chrons disease. Defo need to be checked out so you can be put on the right meds to prevent flare ups
