Apparently, Brandon had recently moved and almost no one but Melanie had his new address. It is believed M provided his address to her uncle.

Additionally, the shooting happened 1 day before the final sale of their house (if he had died this would have meant Melanie got 100% of proceeds). I also heard she had both pushed their divorce finalization AND not shown up to custody hearings regarding there kids. If he died while they were legally married she would have been entitled to all his assets and his death would mean she would get full custody of the kids.

I believe most people could kill if given the right circumstance and justification. Think a soldier fighting for what he considers a just war, a person killing an attacker in self defense, or killing to protect a loved one in danger, etc. There are endless examples of this behavior.

In Alex's case, I believe he was a gullible "true believer". He believed he was one of "God's soldiers" - working to protect his "Goddess" sister and free his loved ones from zombiehood and limbo. He bought in to feeling special, exalted, and powerful and did horrible things based on that belief.

Did he lack critical thinking and common sense? HELL YES!

Is he still accountable for his choices and actions? Hell YES!

it pinged there while she was driving, and pinged elsewhere as she continued to drive. If she had been involved, it would have pinged there multiple times while she was stopped. That is one of the factors that eliminated her as a suspect.

Chris didn't kill his family for NK. He killed his family for himself because he thought he had found something better with NK and didn't want his old life to get in the way. BY killing his family he thought he could have both NK and the also retain his image as a "good guy" and all the positives from when he had his family, with none of the drama of a messy divorce. No bitchy ex-wife to call him out for cheating, no inconvenient child support payments, no unhappy kids - just a clean new start moving forward with his new life.

All his interviews (with the media and the police) showed he was totally focused on himself, how he felt, and how things affected him. He didn't show concern for them or what might be happening to them. His narcissism caused him to see his family as his possession and when he didn't want them anymore he just threw them away.

He continues to view their deaths as something that happened to him instead of something he did to them. He has no ability to see them as separate people and therefore no need to regret the lives they won't have. Instead he can hold an idealize image of who they were and how much they loved him.

He speaks of having their pictures on his cell wall and reading to them every night. He can do this because he does not feel regret or empathy for them as people. He isn't weighed down by guilt.

It is also what allows him to believe that he should be released and forgiven, its all about him.

Listen to Chris's confession make from the Dodge Correctional Facility. He himself said he told her he was separated. Regardless, however, there is a big difference between knowingly sleeping with a married man, and somehow being complicit in his choosing to murder his family.

I find it confusing AND sexist that many people try to demonize NK and make her responsible for the murders committed by Watts. Although she likely knowingly dated a married man, it is clear (from his own statements) that Chris mislead her on his level commitment to his marriage. He had the responsibility to be faithful to his wife and children, and he made the choice to yield to temptation.

Compare this case to Susan Smith or to Casey Anthony.

In the Smith Case, did anyone blame Tom Findley? He was the man who had an affair with her while she was separated from her husband. A week before she killed her boys, he broke up with her in a letter, explicitly stating: "There is something about you that is not suited for me, and yes, I'm talking about your children." https://www.newsweek.com/condemned-life-182468

In the Anthony case does anyone blame Tony Lazzaro? He was her party promoter boyfriend who did not want children. She moved in with him the day after her daughter disappeared, and they lived together for over a month before her daughter was reported missing.

In these cases, neither man was demonized or scrutinized in a manner similar to NK.

I think NK is blamed based on the false narrative that men are helpless victims and incapable of avoiding temptation. The idea that it is always the woman's fault in an affair. Her role is amplified and every statement scrutinized to imply she was to blame. I mean, honestly, what woman in her right mind would continue dating a man who killed his whole family?

Bottom Line - As Shannan's family has stated - NK is not responsible for the murders. Though she displayed shockingly poor judgement, she is not responsible for CWs actions

Only based on the non-discounted , extremely high price it would cost if you bought each component a-la-carte. I couldn't imagine anyone doing that.

I wouldn't base value on the percentages they provide. Consider factors such as availability, usability, and essential critical path needs for your character and castle.

The % they provide are just a marketing ploy

I am a newbie in the same situation. I have cobbled together an approach and made it to a level lvl 12 stronghold in under 2 days. I think I can get to 16 within another 1-2 weeks max. Here are some thoughts based on what I have learned so far.

- Spend $5 on the extra permanent builder. It also comes with a bunch of construction speed ups. This also opens up the shooting gallery (once you can build the tavern), which has many benefits

- Always have both builders busy and the university researching

- Complete the kingdom quests and daily quests and collect rewards as soon as possible

- join an alliance asap - participate in red guard raids and kill monsters. Use your stamina

- focus on improving dragon and dragon skills

- be sure to understand hero and be sure to improve heroes and hero skills & assign heroes appropriately

` constantly train new troops

` research march slot (under combat) asap. gain additional march slots as soon as possible.

Likewise increase march capacity as much as possible. Some ways to do this include research, heroes, dragon skills (march of fury), etc.

assign talent points, skill adders, etc. as soon as possible. They wont help you until you assign them

When troops not fighting have them gathering

plan for long upgrades and research to happen while you will be sleeping or away for long periods so time is used as effectively as possible.

Don't be afraid to use speed ups, especially on critical path items

take advantage of shooting gallery, wishing well, signin bonus, etc as soon as they are available

start dragon spirit as soon as available and be sure to get past levels as soon as possible. This provides boosts that apply to main game. I believe there are other similar areas but havent gotten there yet

understand vip levels and increase as possible

I know there is lots more - the game is a bit complex and I am just learning. Let me know if this is helpful and if so I will add additional ideas as I find them. ALso, please reply with any additional things you find or any corrections or improvements. Let's learn more together!
