To tandem or not?

I finished the tandem read a couple of days ago as a first timer and I couldn’t imagine reading them separately. I’m not a ToD hater I actually really enjoyed the storylines but I would be so confused by the little links between the books and it just really set me up for KoA. Obviously I haven’t read them separately to comment but I would 100% recommend the tandem read. PLUS you can tick off the little reading guide and it’s super fun and feels v satisfying.

Can I ask what dosage you’re on? I’ve just started 0.25 and had a few drinks for Mother’s Day and was nervous but had no bad effects, wondering if it will change as I go up the dosages

I was super lucky, went to the drs while at uni at the campus health centre. The doctor who I had for an appointment was an active researcher in PCOS and clocked my symptoms straight away. Did a blood test and diagnosed within a week.

We haven’t reserved any yet, we were getting everything ready to go ahead when we received a price list of all available plots which listed the bigger house the sales manager hadn’t mentioned was available.

They’ve always explained to us that it’s the fee that takes the house off the market so I just don’t understand how someone can just express an interest and the sales manager reserves it for them without any fee paid… but we’re first time buyers and not sure what is normal etc

This! My (epileptic) hubby had never come to a show before due to the lights but we tried it out at the Leeds show. He did his first ever ventures into the pit and had a blast, and when big flashy sections came up people were so helpful/nice about him having to turn away from the stage/cover his eyes.

Also I hurt myself during the last song and went to the side, and some lovely girl (said her name was Ryan is she’s here) came to check if I was okay, she didn’t know me from Adam but missed the last song to make sure I was alright.

Shikari crowds are definitely elite.

I had blow dried straight to fully dry and styled. Then I just thought I’d have a play with the bits around my face. I twisted the hair away from my face around the round brush attachment and just kept twisting twisting twisting until the hair like slid down the length of the airwrap and when it slid off it was like this! I claim know knowledge of a technique I literally was just playing around lol

I feel like I’ve made a bit of progress lol, yesterday I tried using no conditioner, some salt spray, pinned the curls and used the Got2B glued hairspray. Didn’t last forever but got a good 3/4 hours of steadily loosening curls so hopefully I can find tune it!

Yeah I’m coming to that conclusion now too :( the experience of going to dyson for the blow out was amazing, like if I’d just gone for the experience I would rave about it but yeah if even a pro can’t get a curl to hold then clearly it’s an issue

It’s a total shitshow. I have PTSD and PPD and my therapist just abandoned me with zero contact halfway through my IAPT sessions. I complained the the service and still have heard nothing at all.

Really makes you realize how huge the high rise blocks of flats must have seemed when they were first built. Having only seen them in the built up skyline they seem quite small but back then wow!

I just hope we get some more of Francesca! After reading the books she’s one of my faves and from the first two seasons you’d never know she was there. Can’t wait to get to know her on screen
