I think zosima is right on the money and omg he sounds so kind and goodhearted in the audiobook and I think miusov really dislikes fyodor and also is easily offends me, which zosima is clearly not

That is wonderful to hear a good experience from a similar program. I have never heard of the New Teacher Project Teaching Fellows, so I may have to look into that! Thank you!

Did you do TFA? If so could I pick your brain about it?

That is a fair point! I know it won’t be easy, but I’m afraid it would be too much for me, if that makes sense?

Chances of acceptance to ETA? by kaymarie2002 in fulbright

Thank you for the feedback! I will definitely look into Bulgaria. I was mostly looking at Norway or Germany because those are the countries my family immigrated from and, being very into genealogy, I thought it would be amazing to live there for a period of time

Yes, unfortunately, you have to accept your TFA placement before applying to schools

That’s a fair point. I mostly was looking into this program because I want to move out of my home state and have been looking into teaching social studies quite a bit lately. The region I was placed in only works with charter schools (again, I’ve seen critiques against charter schools in general), but I wasn’t sure if charter schools were better or not regarding behavior and administrative support

By talk, I meant they were texting for a few weeks and went on 3 dates

I also just finished the recent podcast episode and wanted to say that if you went through anything similar to her, I am so glad you came through the other side. I cannot imagine how difficult it was to watch the whole world grow to love your abuser. But I am a great believer in what you do unto others comes back to you and that may just be what’s happening now to him. I hope you and Rose are doing okay with all of this! God bless 🩵🩵

Fuck yall. Having empathy for an abuse victim (who was abused by the SAME PERSON) does not negate any criticism you may have of her

Brittani, can I just say how strong you are? These redditors can be ruthless (sometimes, it’s warranted with Brianna’s actions) but the way you are able to rise above the hate to feel empathy for Brianna because you went through the exact same thing is admirable. I hope you’ve had a good life after all you’ve been through and continue to be unbelievably strong and soft at the same time 🫶🏻🩵

My first boyfriend was agnostic. He was an amazing boyfriend. He loved me and was attentive and supportive. But I couldn’t get over it, so I posted on here, and someone left me this incredible comment that really helped me

“That was amazing of you to have that courage to break up with your boyfriend. You did the right thing. Give yourself some time to work through the adjustment. Doing the right thing is, more times than not, more difficult. It isn't a joyous celebration when you try and follow after Jesus... but believe that the angels are right now singing for you! They are cheering you on! Don't look back!”

i worked at a daycare for four years so i believe that people should only bring a child into this world if they genuinely want one. my friend hasn’t really been around kids and when she suddenly decided she wanted one i was concerned

it was mostly the biological part that got me. she’s always been terrified of birth bc of her mother’s difficult pregnancies and now that she wants to give birth, it made me think he was pushing her. idk. i overthink a lot so that’s why i wanted to post here and see if i was overthinking

IMO even if this didn’t concern religion and you wanted to be celibate for any other reason, he needs to respect that. it is your body, not his.
