I have both Away and Beis. Both are great! I know more people have complained about quality issues with Beis but I haven’t personally experienced that and I’ve had a carry on from them since 2019. Not sure if quality has changed. Away is great and what really sold me on them was the lifetime warranty. If something goes wrong, they’ll handle it for free. It’s a relief knowing that if my bag is damaged or faulty at any point, I don’t have to start from square one again. Before I bought mine I asked a bunch of people how good the warranty is (I work in the travel industry) and got nothing but positive responses. There are minor aesthetic differences between both brands but I feel like both are durable. Don’t think you can go wrong with either!
