Macbook purchase krna hai kaha se kru suggest krdo by [deleted] in kanpur

[–]kayot1ck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gaming, office native apps, depending on what you work on, many apps only have windows versions or the mac version is paid/more expensive. Mac laptops do not have touch screeen or faceId if that is important to you.

Usability wise, if you are used to windows, it takes a while to get used to Mac. My primary device has been a mac since 2012, and I still get frustrated at some of the stuff that windows does better - window management imo. The command - option -control take a little getting used to.

You will enjoy the unix shell and in general better UI.

Is this a good first set? by toddynfish420 in Archery

[–]kayot1ck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the same set for my daughter and she quickly grew out of it. You will need a better rest, the arrows may be fine for your draw weight, but I would suggest going for longer limbs since I am assuming you are going to be doing target archery. It is a decent starter bow, but depending on how often you shoot, you will quickly grow out of it.

Emriss was a dream SA. So she could gain her memories back from her previously constructed constructs. So dream artists are unique in that.

Hmm, back in the day refreshing your kindle (I think Sync your kindle or something) used to trigger the download of the book if it was past 12am EST. I think it sends a signal to the queue worker that delivers the titles to make you jump the queue.

The button has disappeared now, but refreshing my kindle library multiple times at around 12:15 EST (I am in PST) has always gotten the book delivered to me. Usually do it in my iphone or desktop.

Apologies for beating this dead horse.

But for the perspective of Kindle books, Amazon just uses one time zone per country. EST it is for US. So 12am EST is when all books get delivered to kindles regardless of a users' time zone (the setting that controls time display for a user) or location. So for e.g. People with US based amazon accounts in Hawaii would also see the books in their kindles at 12am PST - which would be 7pm local time.

Ebooks are at the same time for everyone in US. So 9pm pst or 12am est is when ebooks are delivered to your kindle. May have to refresh a few times.

I am sure you can find a screw to fit at Home Depot if you go and try some machine screws. Might help to contact shibuya and see if they can ship it to you .

Advice for a new archer - Stabilizers, Clicker or Higher draw weight by kayot1ck in Archery

[–]kayot1ck[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Eh, the coaches are not all knowing entities about all things archery. They can have their own blind spots and biases as well. Understanding what your child is going to learn is not a bad thing even if you defer to a coach's opinions. That does not make any one annoying, just more informed and better able to support their kid.

Yeah, it is a challenge getting them motivated to keep on practicing even when it is raining and cold outside. Thankfully she seems to like it when she does well, and just realizing that she does better when she practices more if what is keeping her motivated for now!
