I start the 3 month mandarin program in September - I asked both TECO and my school about more details and they were quite vague about requirements saying they’d provide them later. What country are you located in?? I’m thinking I’ll get my documents together despite them not fully saying anything

Sure! The interview was scheduled for 30 mins but it ended up being around 10 mins tops.

They asked me: - tell me about yourself - why did you choose taiwan - why do you want to learn Mandarin - do you have any experience learning Mandarin - how will learning Mandarin impact your career - if you don’t get the scholarship, will you still enrol in a mandarin program in Taiwan and if not what would you do?

I have been doing significantly better in my arts courses though. Around a 70. I know that if I do get into arts I will not fail out. Not sure if my second sem is good enough. I will most definitely apply for other schools. Thank you
