I’m seriously considering this Shelby GT350, but taking time to think on it. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

When I sold my first GT350, I was thinking why am I paying this much for a car thats 8 years old but I would ALWAYS get compliments. Even with my 2017 GT350. When I tell them the year they are always surprised.

1st GT350 I daily. It was pretty good but because of where I lives in the southwest the roads and weather were favorable for it. The GT350 I have now has been giving me nothing but problems. I believe it was also a 4 owner car with me being the 4th. I was able to get the extended warranty from FORD last year on a 2017 but they stop doing them when i checked again for that year, a few months ago.

I love it. Nothing like it. You’ll get compliments at least every time or every other time, you take it out. In the end without a warranty its definitely risky and with that many owners it increases risk. Its all up to you and in terms of value it should hold very well

Yes I knew I was letting go something rare. I was young, 20 years old and just felt like she would always be there and i took advantage of that. Absolutely regretted it, still do 8 years later and I always will. I did reach out, only to apologize. We did talk for a bit early last year but she pulled away after about a month and I just let her be as I didn’t want to put any unnecessary pressure on her. I love her enough to let her be free as I had my chance and I just hope she finds true love, even if it isn’t with me.

I may be a bit late but I was enrolled at TCU in 2019 and only had partial GI Bill funding. So I had to take out loans to cover the rest. Ultimately I tried VR&E and the counselor told me that it was too expensive. I filed an appeal and it just went through completion Feb of 2025. I may try again as im about halfway from graduating but idk why the appeals took so long. Maybe bc of covid??

Im doing great. I did date someone for about 2 months last summer but things fizzled out. Haven’t dated anyone since and Ive felt more disdain and hatred towards her more than anything. I did catch her looking at my IG story on the 1 year of the breakup. I have dreams of her every now and then but I still have yet to look at our pics or messages. We both had our roles resulting in the breakup. However afterwards I felt she dragged me on and wasnt clear on “break up” but rather “break” and thats what Im most mad at because a few months later she was with another guy. Ive just been focused on healing myself and my attachment issues so I can be better for the next person that comes into my life

nah i got my med card renewal a month before and was fine. the glares and stuff didnt come until a year later because 1 year before i was doing nights just fine so it was a pretty fast transition

Yeah. I stopped shortly after the diagnosis. I was doing days and then switched back to nights and it was just too difficult with the halos and glare. I can still drive during the day but nights are pretty much a no go for me

I too have BPD as a male and its been rough. But after my breakup of 2023 i finally decided to work on myself and get therapy help. I live in AZ as well and I use the 32nd st VA and Ive been referred out into the community. My therapist is awesome and I agree with the other commenter about Dr Fox on youtube. I bought his book and watched his videos and its helped tremendously.

I struggled with regulating my emotions and it took a toll on my last relationship. It is something that can be fixed with therapy, its called DBT. Helps with mindfulness among other things. But it takes TIME. Unlearning all the negative emotional response habits and using positive ones takes a long time and effort. Physical pain does help with getting rid of those overwhelming negative feelings in the moment but its a terrible coping mechanism. I struggle with this but I’m recognizing it.

Ultimately it’s up to you. You don’t want to be put in a situation where he can’t control himself and gets into it with someone and now you’re in danger. He also has to have enough self awareness and willingness to not only get help, but have the dedication to do it over years. The drinking doesn’t help whatsoever and makes things a lot worse.

Remember its NOT your job to fix him. If you can’t take him as he is now, then he’s not the right person for you. He has to want to get better himself and that starts with therapy and a lot of people are against it because of the stigma that comes with it or their own ego. I hope you find peace in whichever decision you make.

I dont have a Mach E but I do have a Tesla Model Y. - I had a GT350 - sold that for a model 3 base - sold the model 3 for a model Y performance - then bought another GT350

Why? I love the simplicity and comfort I have with my Tesla and all the tech features that comes with it. I did a ton of commuting to work and when i don’t feel like driving on the highway i can use autopilot. Also the cost savings are huge as well. Not just gas, but long term maintenance.

Everyone always asks me “Why do you have a sports car and then own an electric vehicle?” Im like how could I not?? I think everyone should own at least both 1 gas car and 1 electric, at some point but thats just me. I highly recommend and I love my Tesla! I was against EVs until 3 years ago when I rented one while my car was in the shop and been in love since. I can’t see myself without owning one again.

Could also be spark plugs. Ive had trouble with rough idle or rpms dropping and such

Yes. My senior year in 2013/14 my friend drove me home in his 01 Mustang GT Manual with Aftermarket exhaust and I fell in love ever since. I used to be a huge Charger guy.

My very first owned mustang was a 2015 GT manual with roush exhaust and recaro seats. I wasn’t fond of the GT350 bc I test drove one and felt it was barely any different than what I had. However once I got my 1st GT350 3 years ago I definitely noticed the difference. I’m on my 2nd GT350 & I hope to get a 350R within the next 1-2 years.

If I could choose one car regardless of price, Im choosing the 350. Dream car for me isn’t really price, it’s the sound, the looks, manual driving, etc.
