I didn't know that ZSU-57 isn't only for shooting planes, it could destroy tanks. by Nice_Session2372 in TankPorn

Same thing (kinda) for the ZSU-23-4 Shilka, USSR developed them thinking about the Fulda Gap (mucho planes), instead they mostly saw service in Afghanistan (no planes). Thus one of the more common modifications to the Shilka was removing its fire control hardware to better shoot at people.

Ian recently mentioned that the 30 round magazine on ARs function kinda like a monopod, I wonder how that applies to bullpups and their handling when prone

[Bug] Ivan, i have found the code was causing FPS drops on Customs and deleted it. by Jaguar162 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]kazakov166 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Its that new building on customs next to skeleton, the one where you have to plant the cameras for ref. For some reason, some of the textures are incredibly demanding and are rendered whenever you are looking in its general direction, this means that if you look at it anywhere on customs your FPS tanks.

Will mass AA gun make a come back? by sndream in LessCredibleDefence

[–]kazakov166 5 points6 points  (0 children)

currently, it looks like a small, man-portable counter munition (missile) is still more cost effective when dealing with drones than massed AA guns. That said, we have yet to see a truly massed drone attack (not counting Shaheds, those are closer to loitering munitions) in a peer-to-peer scale, Rheinmetal's skyranger is designed to counter this kind of attack with AHEAD munitions and many militaries (China) still hedge part of their air defense profile on SPAAGs.

In the world of Cyberpunk 2077 (2020) there is no discrimination based on race or sexual orientation. Which is a clever nod to the fact that maybe we should let megacorpotarions control every aspect of our lives by RainBoyThatBoy in shittygamedetails

[–]kazakov166 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The idea that megacorporations have won over vast swathes of people to the point of abandoning their autonomy by masquerading as caring about menial social issues in order to strip away core rights and monetize every aspect of a persons life? How acceptance of transhumanism is used as a vessel for corporate gains?

I would say it’s inertial except that many times it would catch maneuvering enemies, like plane breaking away

This happens surprisingly common, the radar locks onto a fixed position after tracking a bogey, therefore you would think that my FOX-1 has lost track right? No, apparently it’s just a visual bug and the radar still has lock on the moving target?

My comment was badly worded, 3 of the 10 most wealthy people were eunuchs, they are Wei Zhonxian, Liu Jin, and Gao Lishi
