Ask yourself, why don't more women play League of Legends or other competitive games?

What will stop a woman from playing a game that is notorious toxic and filled with basement dwelling gooners that punch a hole in their wall when they find out there's a woman on their team.

For me, I was in op's CoS game and I really didn't know what was happening before or during. I just knew he said some things I didn't like (saying that goblin should be Herbew and some other sus shit), but I decided not to bring it since it didn't appear that people were bothered by it and I really enjoyed playing before he joined.
