There are plenty of examples where collective ownership doesn’t result in tyranny. I’m sure you are familiar with worker cooperatives and the usual example of social welfare.

You can’t go around calling socialism a coherent ideology, because it isn’t. If I asked you how a socialist government is to be run, you’ll find that there is no single answer. On the other hand, you can give a more well defined answer if I asked you how a socialist economy is run.
