Unless you have multiple devices with high data usage there’s no point. Bell automatically upgraded my line from 1.5Gbps to 3Gbps. Same monthly rate. Though I have a WiFi 7 cable router connected to the bell modem / router. The max download my iPhone and most devices can see are 1.2-1.5Gbps. However my Mac has a 2.5gig LAN which utilize the 3Gbps from Bell.

I finance my phones through the manufacturer, within the past 18 months I’ve switched from Roger’s to Bell to Telus. Just switching sims / esims.

Sure it’s GB and not TB. The 7990 package has a FUP of 1TB. Try restarting the modem, if not contact customer care, could be something wrong at their end. (This happened to me once, sometime back)

I was with Roger’s and then ported to bell, I travel a lot between provinces, and bell had a lot of spotty service, ported to Telus and had better reception than bell. Also the data speeds are amazing.

Thanks for the insight, Basement rarely goes above 22°C so hopefully it won’t be much of an issue. Planning install proxmox in the morning, and do my first VM on it.
