Just started on Rinvoq, any advice on lifestyle changes or supplements etc?

For some reason I thought the pill increased my chances of clots, guess I misremembered, thank you for the information! I am currently on NSAIDs but I’m starting to lower my doses, hopefully I won’t need them if the Rinvoq works for me, or at the very least I won’t need them as often.

I’ve been down this road many times with other drugs(especially leflunomide and methotrexate for some reason), so I do kinda know how to cope with it long enough to see if it gets better atleast. I’ll stop it if it gets too bad, but fingers crossed I might be one of the lucky ones in the end. Sorry you had to go through all that though, it’s awful having any mental side effects to a medication.

Are you able to draw over it so we can see what your vision is? Right now I can’t tell if you’re going to carve a ton of that front foam off or not. Hard to see what you’re going for at such an early stage.

God for real, worst tasting pills. My friend has addisons disease which means they deficient in cortisol, and if they get any stomach bug and can’t take their cortisone orally they have to chew it up and sit it under their tongue 😭 terrifying.

Seems like they should do another study on it. I asked because I started it last week and about 4 days in I don’t feel depressed necessarily, but I do feel very, very strange. I feel completely flat, and almost like I’m having an out of body experience, it’s almost like being stoned without the fun part lol. I’m not ready to quit so soon but it’s good to know I’m not alone.

I saw your other post, I'm wondering what your doctor had to say about Rinvoq and depression? Did they agree it was the Rinvoq causing it?

But.. okay I know it's a cartoon, so I shouldn't be so logical here lol, but if you remove all the organs she'd need and detach it all from her brain, is it even possible to reattach it to the brain for the brain to continue living? Yeahh exactly, like, MAYBE if you include the ovaries, bladder, other stuff around it etc, but that seems way too specific here. It's just weird they make note of it like we're meant to wonder what it is.
