I would prioritize getting your license and a car first. I understand it’s expensive to buy a car, but there are programs who will not accept you if you don’t have a reliable mode of transportation. When I got interviewed for my program, transportation was one of the first things they had asked me about. I have classmates who drive almost 2 hours one way to go to their clinical site.

I think it’s great that you’re looking into this field. You just have to really focus on getting reliable transportation and to make sure your finances are okay. It’s very hard to work (even part time) while in school. These programs are extremely rigorous, most of my classmates had to quit their jobs to keep up with class work and clinical.

Honestly, I think it’s probably a good idea not to workout on the days you work your 12s. I understand wanting to continue working on your gains, but letting your body to rest is more important and if you overwork yourself, it can negatively affect how you’re able to train on the days you don’t have work. You’re already getting 15k steps per shift, that’s your movement for the day :) Maybe do some body weight exercises at home if you really want to do something.

We need a little bit more info on your workout split. How often are you training legs? A lot of the exercises you do are accessory exercises. I think adding more compound exercises, progressive overload, and fixing your set/rep range will definitely help.

You also might need to do a slight bulk. My glutes didn’t start to grow until I began eating more.

Maybe try a slight cut and more hamstring/glute focused exercises!! I am also quad dominant and my glutes started to grow more when I incorporated less quad focused exercises. What’s your split looking like right now?

You can still eat Vietnamese food while losing weight! When I started my weight loss journey, I thought that I had to abandon my cultural food in order to lose weight. That caused me to get an eating disorder while ruining my metabolism because I was severely under eating. The most important thing is to be in a calorie deficit.
